A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades.   Compared to my 2000 E320 which I thought was an outstanding car, this simply puts it to shame. The style, both exterior and interior is so much more comfortable and room to spare.Can it get any better?

  4 wheel 4matic version is superb in snow states. 2 wheel drive is great in Southern states. Be sure you get the right drive train. Superb appointments. Rear seat airbags!!

  We were lucky to find an off-lease E320S4 w/just 17K miles. Watch fuel capacity: its 18.1 INCLUDING reserve. Owners manual appears ambiguous re 2.4 g "reserve". A sporty ride, disguised as a family wagon.

  I have had this car for 4 years and this is the best car I have owned. No problems,just regular maintenance and oil change. It is very fast and classy. This is what the Benz should look like. The newer E-class is ugly and suffers poor reliability - not a true Benz! Ask any Benz mechanic which is the most reliable model ever built and he will tell you the same thing. A Class of its own!

  E 55 born to drive - 2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

  I first drove a Benz a couple of years prior to owning one, and I never thought I would have so much fun! I looked at and drove BMWs, Audis and a few domestics, but the E 55 blew them all away! With 355 bhp (according to factory specs) youll be attaining 0-60 in just under 6 sec. Its a true rocket ship that I just have a lot of fun driving. True, a bit expensive on repairs, but this thing is worth the effort! Go get one and enjoy! BCR

  This represents my 7th MB car and 6th E class. MB finally got it totally right. Nothing left to lust for except the SL for top down summer driving.

  It takes a couple of hours to become acquainted with all the technology features but after the dealer familiarization coupleD with the online videos at MBUSA.COM..it really a snap! Very impressive car; looked at several luxury sedans by various high end OEM but came back to MB.

  Over all Im happy with the car. The only thing is when going on bumpy roads you feel a lot of vibrations.

  Hello, The First Mercedes I had was a Silver 1998 Mercedes Benz E-Class. I thought it was a very nice car. So, I went out and bought a Black 2002 Mercedes Benz S-Class. I was the first one at that dealer to have the 2002. It was a very nice car, but reliable-not. So I went back and forth between BMW X5 and 5 series and Lexus LS and GX. I had all of those. So in 2008 I bought the E- Class. It was amazing! The greatest Mercedes Ive ever had. Now I am going out to buy my wife a ML or GL. Thanks MB
