Model Overview:

A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.

Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

This car offers a great ride coupled with outstanding fuel economy, good looks, and a social conscience. Sat, Nav, sound system are all top quality. Worth every penny!

The 2014 E250 Bluetec 4matic has a vibration at higher speeds that sometimes goes away once the car finds the right gear. I have 700 miles and the computer on the dash says I am getting 34.5mpg. The car gets over 40 mpg on the highway easily. I bought the2014 E250 Bluetec for the fuel efficiency, the longevity, and it is the only E class they had that still has the 3 point star on the hood. I have read all the horror stories about Mercedes Benz but at 700 miles I have not had a single problem. I think I will keep this one for a long time.

The 2014 model is a big improvement over the 2013 model. After experiencing the upgraded headlight system, I highly recommend spending extra for it. It is so well done that MB carried it forward several model years without making any changes. Over all I am pleased with the purchase. I think the solid quality feel of driving this model will confirm the choice for 100% of drivers.

  • Have lost confidence in car and dealer - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Great car, except for electrical problems. Because the repair was not scheduled in advance, the dealer kept the car 1 week for repairs. I picked up the car and drove it three blocks from the dealer and the same electrical problems, lights and cruise control, ESP lights were back on showing, see the workshop for repairs. The car stayed at the dealer for 1 more week before it was fixed. I have driven it 500 miles and everything seems to be OK. I know my confidence in the car is not what it was two months ago. Not sure if I will ever purchase another Mercedes Benz.

I own a E500 and it is not worth 60,000 dollars. The inside is cheap looking the braking it elctronic, the engine sounds like a civic and its handling is not the best. It is a nice looking car but I would not reccommend it. I have driven the 2003 540i 6-speed and man is that a nice car, its simple, fast, fun and with the new body work its still up there with the E in looks.

I have had this car for a month and I must say it is an excellent blend of comfort and power. It has a sporty buy classy design that screams drive me and a plush interior that defines comfort and convience. The sport package a definite must as it adds a sort of attitude to the exterior and new age look to the inside with a silver and wite dash and black birds eye maple trim. The E class 500 in four words " A total driving machine"....

  • Capable family car - 2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Plenty of passing power. Dont be fooled by the looks, this is not grandpas Mercedes. Great legroom. Mechanically reliable. I always have a smile driving this car, until its time to refill.

  • Brand New E-350 MB- DONT Do IT! - 2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
    By -

I bought a brand new 4Matic E-350 Benz in JAN 2011. The car needs a transmission. I have been fighting with MB USA to just give me an even trade. I now see I paid TOO MUCH for it because they want me to take a $16K negitive equity. Im very dissapointed in the customer service that I have received. I would never recommend anyone purchase an E calss or any other car from MB in Alex, VA. I needed a car with all wheel drive so I traded in my 2002 S-class for the 2011 E-class; BIG mistake. I went back the next day to get my car and they sold it. What does that say? All I want to remedy the situation is a fair trade in. They have offered to pay my notes for 2 months! NOT HAPPY.

  • Fantastic car - 1997 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Just bought the car a week ago and I am very happy. Even with 275k miles on it, it still runs like new. 20 years later it still has more style then most cars going down the road. great gas millage as well, for a 90s car.

This is my 4th Mercedes and the best so far. The increased horsepower is terrific. The 7-Speed Auto Trans allows me to get the same mileage as I did with my 2003 E300. People love riding in my car and always comment on the smooth ride.
