Model Overview:

A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.

Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

Wonderful car to drive anywhere. Very quick and fast when necessary. The car will adapt to anyones style or need. Fantastic reliablity and build quality. This car was very much worth the long wait. Mercedes finally put a set of attractive wheels on an AMG.

This is the greatest Mercedes Benz I have ever owned. It is so smooth and quite, I cant hear the road. It is sleek and fun to drive. Great car. I have owned several of these cars, but this by far the best and very trouble free.

  • Lots of annoying problems - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Winshield cracked at 10K miles dont know why? Hands free phone is bad for the person you are talking to. They cant here you and it is overpriced. Stereo system left speakers cut out occassionally.

  • Return of the Wagon - 2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

We were happy to welcome the 2011 wagon into our family. We owned a 2000 wagon, and contemplated purchasing the body style that came in between, but found it too small for our taste. The 2011 wagon, while not as quite as large as its predecessor 2 generations ago, is much roomier inside than the model that launched in 2004. Wagons seem to attract a dedicated audience, and deservedly so. This model is beautiful to look inside and out. It offers the utility of an SUV and the drive of a car. The third row remains one of our favorite features, not only for its ability to carry two (small)l people but also for its ability to hold grocery bags upright. More luxurious, more powerful. Winner.

  • Fun...but Merceces - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
    By -

Love this car overall but the E320 is still a Mercedes with quirks. Our third one so were used to it. Nothing serious. Things like occaisional electrical problems that magically fix themselves, undeterminable rattles, radio/CD/phone outage. None of these problems really take away from the enjoyment of driving the car. Hey, its a MERCEDES!

Oustanding torque for a staid appearing sedan. Has all of the bells and whistles inside and a tiger under the hood. Good cornering as well

It is the best Mercedes Ive ever owned, except for my ML500 Insiration, but thats an SUV. I love all the rich woods inside, and the climate controlled seats, perfect for those cold winter trips.
