  Bad air conditioning system - 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

  The air conditioner continues giving out foul, sour, acidic smell even after 2 heater core replaced, 2 complete cleaning. The manufacturer call center confirmed its a known issue. Transmission adapter failed once and is now leaking agin. Independent service center called it a fire hazard. Does anyone experience the same as I do with this car, please let me know. I really appreciate it.

  This car is amazing and it is fast for a diesel. The E class is also nice in the interior. The gas mileage is suprising for a Mercedes Benz of any kind, let alone the E class

  Great car, Bad service - 2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

  I love this car!!! However, there are a couple of cheap points, the plastic drivers vanity mirror has broken twice, the cup holder has broken 3 times, and my catalytic converter 2 times. The material bottom of the door would be better like my 190e as plastic, the material gets too dirty. Service seems to send it out with problems it didnt previusly have.

  This is a well crafted vehicle. I love the acceleration, and handling. I have owned an older E class, and a 98 C class, and this is the best of the bunch.

  First time Mercedes owner and I love my E500. Its fully loaded. I was thinking of getting a Q45 or Jaguar S type R, Im glad I didnt. As far as the the overall style its sporty & youthful yet luxuriest & sophisticated all in one awesome package. As for the price its hefty but damm Im HAPPY. NO regrets.

  The E500 sport is the best car that I have ever owned. It is luxury and fun all wrapped up in one vehicle.The suspension makes you feel like you are riding on a cloud.The audio system is incredible.This is a must own vehicle.

  Make sure you have a good mechanic - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

  My car spent 21 days in the shop, before it had 2500 miles on it. The car pulled hard to the right, the front end was totally out of aligment! It then went back in because the passenger side would flood everytime it rained. Something was wrong with the dam around the sun roof, causing the dam, side airbag and footwell to need replacing. now i just received a recall on the steering bolt... yikes, so much for quality for your money. You might want to wait a year or two to purchase, so they can work the kinks out.

  It handles like nothing else...they have corrected all the things that I didnt like on earlier models. Trunk space is incredible...like no other...elegant but practical.
