Overview & Reviews
A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.
Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

Best in 45 years - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By vl39 - February 9 - 6:20 amI have a 1998 E300 Turbodiesel and it was the best overall vehicle I have ever had until I purchased a 2006 E320 Turbodiesel. The 2006 gets 15% to 20% better mileage, and it has 20% more performance. The lighting is superior, the Nav system works well, and the ride and handling are better than any vehicle I have owned. Mileage is 37 to 40 mpg at 70mph, and 33 to 35 mpg at 75 mpg.

It is a good car..but expensive to keep - 1998 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Steve Ho - February 6 - 12:26 amI bought it as a certified pre-owned. the dealer was great..deliver the car to my wifes office..Fed Exp overnight a spare key as soon as my wife it on 2nd day..my local MB dealer pick up and return it for service..need road side assistance three times..the good side they showed up in an hour everytime. great services again. drive and ride great last 3 years. Cost to keep it is not cheap at all. my last invoice to replace 2 sensors and a few small things came to $2000. In last 3 services, nothing under $500. Engine noise increase in last 6 months. Dealer say it is normal.

By Khaled Ebrahim - January 29 - 10:00 amChanged the electric window motors for both back windows left and right. The CD players/Radio/Cassette has been fixed as it just freezes as is in any condition low/loud whatever. Other than this it is perfectly fine.

Fantastic vechicle - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Citiman - January 24 - 8:06 pmJust got it a week ago after driving E320 for seven years. It was a great car, but E-class 2010 is even better. Nice inside-out, great comfort, very good acceleration and handling. Highly recommend.

Nearly 3000 miles -- Awesome car! - 2005 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Bob - January 24 - 7:53 pmThis car is very different than anything I have driven. New to diesels, I cant get over the launch at low revs. Taking off, you need to push the throttle gently at first to spool up the turbo and then let it go. Amazing torque! In regards to looks, feel, ride, quality, it truly does the Mercedes brand justice. A fine car with great toys and beauty throughout. So far I am delighted! In regards to MPG, I have a mixed highway city daily commute of 30 miles. I am seeing 30 MPG consistently on each leg.

Hugh disappointment in Quality & Service - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Alex C... - January 24 - 10:00 amWithin a month after the purchase I started to have numerous problems like telephone system failure, too much engine noise, main screen & CD changer shutdown, etc. They took 5 days to fix these problems and then I had to take my car in again for almost same problems for another 5 days. They had to replace all those problem parts again just like last time. Now, Im starting to have some problems again like trunk closure & sunshade malfunctions, phone system problems, keyless GO malfunction, etc. I paid almost $70k with this vehicle including pretty much all the options. Now they are useless since they are the main things causing all these problems

Mercedes scored another MB with me... - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Will - January 23 - 5:46 amI have to say my 3rd Mercedes and the best of all. Im loving this car more every day, it has everything you could want from a luxury car and more. It safe, really safe, the brakes are "touchy" but emergency are very powerful, the 8 air bags, the seat belts tight in braking. Ok performance is good but could be better but for me is precise because I live in a mountanies island (Puerto Rico, it climbs hill without a problem, fuel economy is very good, ive known to get 450 miles on a tank and 32.0 mpg. Its comfortable, and stable ( if you buy sport package even better) it takes corners smothly. I just know I love going on long trips on the car, no pain anywhere, super comfy, buy it and you will like it

2004 E320 SPORT - 2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By vladimir isov - January 18 - 10:06 amThere is nothing like a Mercedes-Benz. Here is the bottom line. Mercedes-Benz, like all cars, must be properly maintained inside and out for it to perform and be relied upon during its long life. These are highly advanced vehicles which deserve much respect, and that means no cutting corners when it comes to maintenance and repairs. Most people complaining about their Benz either obtained it from poor care or have not been providing the proper care . I will admit, it does take a financial commitment to make this happen, but so does the proper care for a Honda Civic if you wish to have it running like new at 120K miles. I am blessed to have my 04 E320 Sport and its simply a great car.

Very pleased buying CPO - 2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By coadster - January 15 - 10:00 amPurchased recently CPO and must say - it probably was a real bargain. Car is exactly like brand new...fully covered by excellent warranty and saved a bundle by purchasing this way. Many are coming off leases and, after doing some serious research, finding the exact right one paid off!
