Overview & Reviews
A favorite in the midsize luxury car class, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class has provided an appealing mix of comfort, performance and safety for decades. The trademark qualities of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, such as vaultlike solidity and cutting-edge technology, have also contributed to the E-Class' great popularity among luxury buyers.
Over the years, the E-Class has been offered as a sedan, wagon, coupe and convertible. Contemporary E-Class models come loaded with luxury features and offer stunning acceleration in higher trim levels, with diesel power available if you want to maximize your fuel economy. The E-Class has never been the sportiest car in its segment, but its handling has improved significantly in recent years. Rivals are better in certain respects, but if you're looking for the complete package in a medium-size luxury car, an E-Class will be hard to beat.

E320 AWD WAGON - 1999 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By michaelm - January 24 - 10:00 amOne of the best cars Ive ever owned. Solidly built and HUGE cargo space...bigger than most SUVs without the risk of rollover. I would suggest getting an extended warranty as repairs can be pricey. To replace the AWD mechanism cost 4k but the warranty covered. I liked the car so much I bought two.

We love it! - 2002 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Wm. Jeffrey Donovan - January 20 - 10:00 amThis automobile has been exceptional. I have been a Cadillac owner for about 20 years and switched to Mercedes because of a bad dealer experience. I was not thrilled with the Mercedes at first, because it was different. However, the longer I have the car, the better it gets. For the first time in my life, I am seriously considering keeping this car for more than 2 to 3 years. It has truly been a pleasure to own. The service is exceptional, and the attention the car gets is unbelievable! Everyone knows what it is. Everyone thinks that it cost much more than it did. The gas mileage is fantastic, and the comfort is outstanding. If I trade this year, it will be for another just like it

Best Car Ever - 2001 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By sharksqueenbee - January 19 - 9:20 amWe bought this car with 6 yrs old as CPO with 35K miles. I just flipped it to 200K miles last week. We purchased an extended warranty from MB and that was a good decision. We have faithfully maintained the car and without a doubt, I can say this is the BEST car Ive ever driven and/or owned. It is a tank. Over the years, Ive had it packed. Often times with 6 passengers as the kids loved the rear facing seats. Combined city/hwy mileage averages 23-25, which given the performance is hard to beat. This car is solid, rain (which we have a lot of in the PNW) and snow are not a problem. Looking to replace (just want something newer) and its going to be a tall order to beat this one.

Love IT - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By PS - January 16 - 3:30 pmI bought the new 2010 E350 couple of weeks ago and its absolute fun to drive, a great improvement over 2009 E350. The new design rocks and on top of it its cheaper than 2009. The got the sports + P1 package and with new design its looks more like 750 from inside. Go for it.

E350 review - 2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By cerp - January 15 - 9:03 amOverall very good car. But has some quality issues that I would not expect in a $50k car. Driver seat squeaks (had to take twice to dealership), screws in plate holder became loose. A/C is noisy, fan in auto mode seems stuck in position 5. Had it checked, MB said it was normal. Other than that, is it a comformtable sedan with a spacious trunk. Engine is powerful with great gas mileage. You can easily get 26 MPG in freeway driving.

Wow - 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Investor Man - January 2 - 2:53 amThis is my first Mercedes. It handles like a dream. The car is quiet. The p2 package gives you all the toys. You get behind the wheel and just say wow! It is like owning a luxury car and a sports car all at once. You step on the gas and this car really gos.Gas mileage is actually pretty good for a eight cylinder.
