Overview & Reviews
The E-Class sedan is completely redesigned this year. A more elegant body, along with more power for the V8 model and more luxury (including four-zone climate control and an optional massaging driver seat), bring the latest midsize Benz up to date. Last year's E-Class station wagon, however, carries over into 2003 virtually unchanged.
- Legendary solidity, effortless performance, state-of-the-art safety features.
- Firm ride for a luxury sedan, touchy brakes.

Very Pleased - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By BenzHappy - September 27 - 10:00 amThis car has it all - looks, style, comfort and performance. Inside and out, it is the best looking sedan on the market today. Sure, you pay a little premium, but that is more than offset by the quality and extremely high resale value. I have never owned a Mercedes - buying BMWs, Lexus, Jags and Porsches in the past. I have been pleasantly surprised with the E and see myself in Benzs in the future. PS - has anyone seen what BMW is doing with their cars lately - what is up with that (inside AND out)!!!!

Great car! - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By rufino - September 16 - 9:26 pmAn extraordinary car! When I bought it, I knew it was a dream. It has great stability. The comfort is great. On the road, its smooth and gets great mileage. The other day on a 2 hour trip, I got 410 miles on a tank with 28.5 mpg. I hadnt filled the tank in 1 week and 2 days. I love the sport package and the bi- xenon lights. Great everything! The trunk is enormous.

E 320 4 matic Wagon - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By LKG - September 4 - 10:00 amThis is my wifes vehicle, she loves the car. This was a replacement for a Suburban. She loves the size and the handling etc. I perosnally prefer the BMW for ride and sport car handling. This thing can haul a ton of cargo and still handles pretty well. Would be great to see this unit made with the extras of the E 500. I would persoanlly consider the Pacifica when looking at this unit.

Excellent to own - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Phil - September 1 - 3:03 amThis car has everything anyone could want: safety, reliability, styling, comfort, standard upgrades such as an audio system that uses fiber-optic wiring to the speakers (you hear every sound), and great gas mileage. What more could you want?

Best Car Ever - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By terry - July 28 - 10:23 pmIve had 3 other MBs, a BMW, a Jaguar, and a Cadillac-this car beats them all-easily. Great ride coupled with excellent road feel, I can drive 8 hours and leave the cockpit feeling refreshed, 30/31 mpg at 75 mph-and only routine maintenance, brakes, and tires. Its not marriage material but next best!

What a dream!!!!! - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By eyelids - June 27 - 2:00 amPurchased my third Mercedes, and this is the best one yet. The E-320 with the Sport Package and Tectite Gray color. This is a head turner, and puts my wifes E-320 Wagon 2002 to shame. The leather seats are awesome, the surround sound stereo is better than my home unit. And, this baby kicks!!

No words can describe it! - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By Bob - March 23 - 9:43 amMercedes out did themselves. This car is amazing. Everything a man needs and more. It has a smooth ride, but also very good stability. I recommend the sport package. Its an awesome car. The performance is good and so is its fuel economy. The front seats are extremely comfortable. The trunk is enormous. Its cabin is very quiet, and it is the safest car on the road. Its a tank. I love the rims of the sport package, and the braking is excellent. It has saved my life a few times.

Happy! Still Evaluating - 2003 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
By tom fendley - March 17 - 10:00 amOur initial family drive was 1800 miles. We toured through valleys and mountains. Gas mileage was above 29 mpg. Interstate driving was great. Cruised at 75 for over 100 miles before a needed stop. I loved the ride.
