  • Just great - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

Handling is fantastic--Last winter it handled better than the 4x4 pickup I traded. I live the mountainous area of N.E. PA so this was a plus. Just had first free service. Great gas mileage (31 highway). Only time it was back to the dealer. Loved it so much just bought the wife a E-320 4-matic two months ago. Only two gripes: 1- Location of CD Changer 2- Toy cup holder in front seat belongs in a Chevette

Has multiple features found on more expensive models. Large sliding roof is unique. Kompressor (supercharger) make 189 HP seem like 300 when it kicks in. A wonderful small hatchback. Sad that MB discontinued the model for 2006.

  • Best Car I Ever Won! - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I won this car in a casino drawing in Laughlin, Nevada in December of 2005. The car was "new" (but already 2 model years old) but did have about 800 miles on it. I have really enjoyed this great surprise "gift" and drive it mostly on trips from my home in Bullhead City, AZ to Vegas, Southern CA and the Bay Area. Car does perform GREAT on the highway. with 28-31 MPG. City MPG 21-25. Supercharger is awesome for passing. City performance a bit sluggish. Interior pretty comfy, but I could see it would be a bit cramped for very large or tall people. Exterior styling on this model is beautiful and classic. Very few minor problems so far so I am quite pleased. Worth every penny I paid!

  • Disappointed - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

Buyer beware of this piece of crap! The car has had nothing but problems - 3000 kms and it has been into dealer 5 times now. They have had it for two weeks so far. 1st they replaced the fuel injectors, now the kompressor. Wrong kompressor installed by factory - really makes you wonder - Still not fixed! Maybe the dealer is incompetent! No loner offered. I would really think twice before buying another Mercedes. A real Lemon! High end Junk!

  • I love my 2004 C230 Kompressor - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

This is my 2nd Mercedes and Im loving this one more than my 300E. From the C230s stylish looks to its quick and efficient kompressor engine, this car is a dream. Its fun to drive and it is built very safety oriented. The finish work is superb. While on vacation on Maui last week, I rented a Ford Escape. I couldnt wait to get back in my C230!

  • C 240 Review - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The car has a terrific ride, fantastic manumatic feature, pretty good amount of interior space, and Tele-aid feature leaves you almost worry free when you need assistance for your car. The interior presentation is simple but very bland for a car this price. The CD- changer should be in-dash, not in the glovebox, and the mirrors are a joke for this size of a car.

Hot Hot Hot!!! A sleeper that performs like a Corvette and seats four customers for business luncheons.

  • A Really Good Car - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

It is definetly a very fun car to drive. It turns heads especially with the sports package. You can press on the accelerator and be launched forward like a slingshot. Throw it into turn and its very controlable even with the extra speed. The extra options are definetly worth it and all buttons are easy to use and clear. Extremely good gas mileage.

  • Mercedes vs. BMW 3 - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

230 comes std w/17" wheels, sports suspension, 8 airbags, leather-BMW does NOt! For 10K less you can get a reliable, safe, high quality car. A4- many mechanical problems, no steering wheel controls. Passat not only holds it value better, but better value overall than A4. New VolvoS40 too family/Jetta 1.8T like, Lexus/TSX glorified Toyota/HOndas w/higher price. Saab Not hold its value! Al trim nice changer if grew up w/wood interiors. Yes, BMW comes std w/Al trim now
