Whats Not To Love - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By bigrob - June 2 - 2:00 amI bought this car about a week ago. I didnt really test drive anything else in the class, I didnt have to. Right away I loved it, the sleek design, interior comfort, Mercedes Quality, and most of all the price. My question is why is the car getting the cold shoulder with the experts? Almost every expert rating including this site doesnt like the car and it has recieved bad marks compared to The Audi, BMW, and Lexus comparable model.

Liza - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By Dreyfuss - May 28 - 10:00 amLove my 2004 C320 4Matic, handles great, style gets the eye from others. The little extras are cool, like the rear shade & cup holder. I love driving to work now, after 26 years its finally a pleasure! More models with Ash interior should be offered, they seem hard to come by and it is truly a womans color. Two areas to improve: 1- The A/C system is a little complicated/hard to finely adjust. 2- The CD player sound is awesome, and the steering wheel controls are great! However, the cartridge that holds the CDs in the glovebox is flimsy and hard to change CDs in & out of.

Fun and sensible - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By Learnsomething - April 16 - 10:00 amIt was either the C320 coupe for about $30k OTD. or the Maybach for $300k. Just kidding. I wanted a rear wheel drive fun commuter car. The V6 feels more powerful with its automatic than my audi felt with a manual. I love the idea of 8.5 quart oil capacity. All the technology and safety and quality is there. My oyster cloth interior with metal trim looks like a fine suit. But its $15k less than the CLK320 and $9000 less than the C320 sedan. The free maintenance and lifetime roadside assistance are great. The car is comfortable and fun to drive.

Nice car but too small - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By Bill - April 4 - 9:36 amWe really like the car. It has good power and looks great. The star on the hood gets respect. Dont plan on having this car be your family car. Its just too small. Great as a single persons car or a married couple. The car has never left us stranded but has been in the shop often. Were going to trade down to a Chevy. Were also concerned about the cost of repairs after the warranty expires.

SHE BANGS!! - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By maloguapo - March 4 - 10:00 amMost Bang for the buck! Ive owned my 2004 for about 8 months now. I initially was out to get a BMW 325. However, after driving the C230k, the BMW was out of the question! In my opinion, the exterior styling/whoa factor cant be beat by any car in its price segment. The interior materials are grade "A". Also, performance is awesome! Everyone who I let drive my car, usually is quite shocked after I tell them that theres a 4cyl under the hood, not a 6cyl. I will admit that handling isnt as precise as that of the Bimmer, but I will say this...the c230 is the BEST combination of sport/luxury that one can get for barely over $30k!

C230 Kompressor - 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By jake1969 - January 25 - 9:33 amThe Benz has handled well in all driving conditions. The OEM tires from Continental were the only disappointment performance wise because of the short duration (27000 miles). Otherwise, awesome for a 4 cyl.
