This Year's Model Updates:

For 2015, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan is fully redesigned. It's longer and slightly wider, with a roomier and more stylish cabin trimmed in top-quality materials. New engines also debut. The C-Class coupe carries over with minimal feature changes.

Pros:
  • Refined ride and handling
  • Meticulous construction and engineering
  • Rip-roaring C63 AMG model.
  • Elegant interior
Cons:
  • Cool but clumsy touchpad infotainment interface
  • Pricier than most competitors.

  • Poor visibility, poor acceleration - 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

The C-pillar (rear) is a big honker - which makes changing lanes and backing out of the driveway unsafe. No technology for showing cars in the blind spot. Acceleration is turbo-lagged. Ugh. Rear view camera lousy. Sound system great though.

  • Contacted Mercedes USA for Help - They Dont Care - 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

2015 C300 4MATIC leased end of Jan 2015. As of April 2015 my car has been in for service 6 times. Im having several electrical issues most of them are recorded on video. I have contacted Mercedes Benz asking for help in either getting me another C Class or a different model Mercedes. As per Mercedes Benz they will NOT change my vehicle at all. I ma to remain with this messed up car for three more years. Mercedes USA agrees that the vehicle has been in for service many times but have not found anything wrong with my car even after I am showing them videos of whats going on. DISGUSTING SERVICE!! THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE A KING UNTIL YOU HAVE ISSUES. I WILL BE TAKING THIS COMPLAINT FURTHER

  • Please read this before you drive it off the lot. - 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

I loved this car - and still do to a point. However, I noticed when I was driving off the lot that speakers were making a buzzing sound. I honestly thought it must be in my head so I kept going. 6 months later, Ive had it in for this to be repaired for three days and it still does it. Internet forums are filled with users complaining that their premium Burmeister sound system buzzes and rattles. Some dealerships claim they cant hear it. One forum poster said hes had it in 9 times to fix the buzz. Yesterday, I made a video of EXACTLY how to reproduce it here. https://youtu.be/VjPDFnf6TOI Please do yourself an enormous favor and try this test to confirm that your new car does not buzz. Once you buy it, odds are it is permanent. I would not have spent 70k on this car knowing this.

  • Expected Better from Mercedes - 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

Weve had the car a little over a year and bought it in large measure on the strength of the Edmunds review, which gave it an A rating. While the car has some nice features, it also has some that leave you shaking your head. Were not sure why Edmunds gave it such a high rating, it probably deserves a B- instead. On the positive side, the car is beautiful, comfortable, performs well, gets outstanding gas mileage and is fun to drive. On the negative side of things, the overly complex entertainment/climate control system is maddening. Even after a year, I have no idea how to find a radio station outside of the presets the salesperson helped me program when we first bought it. There are three levers on the left side of the steering column - turn signal, cruise control and steering column adjustment. Too many times Ive turned on the signal when I meant to adjust the cruise control, and vice versa. Very clumsy design. The other real negative is the lack of a spare tire. Weve had two flats in the year weve owned the car, which is way more than weve experienced before. In both cases, the drive-flat tires were ruined and had to be replaced at a cost of over $400 each time. Even worse, a flat tire with this car demands your immediate attention, which is a real pain in the rear. No matter what else youre doing at the time or where you are, everything has to be put on hold until the tire gets fixed. Gone are the days that you could put on the spare and go about your business and get around to fixing the flat at a more convenient time. And if it happens on a weekend, the car is pretty much out of commission until Monday.

  • great car eats expensive front tires evry 8k miles - 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

We have a 2015 c 400 that eats the outside edges in 6-8 k miles, inside edge still has 85% tread left . Take it in at 10 k miles when we first noticed outside edge of tires down to cords. I am told out of alignment , even when it tracks straight as a arrow, I have to pay for alignment that proves it is spot on factory settings, Then they say driving habit. Wife drives the car on the same freeway route as she did with our previous c 250 that got over 40k miles on original set of tires. Car currently has 40 k miles on it , brakes are at 70% life left , so not a hard driving issue. .Have been through 4 sets of front tires that I toss with over 85% of tread left on inside edge and centers at 8/32 tread depth and outside edges worn to cords .Only on 2nd set of rears that wear consistent from edge to edge and gave life expected of a super summer tire of 20 k miles If it was a hard driving issue rears would wear faster as well. Run flats at 20 inch size are 500 each !! Car is a poor design and MB will do nothing about it Every service writer knows it is a issue but mercedes usa will not address it and will not do anything about it. Very poor customer service from mercedes usa. ANYONE ELSE WITH A C SERIES 4 MATIC OR ANY OTHER 4 MATIC HAVING SAME ISSUES ??

  • Research before buying - 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

Stunning interior, good stereo, stylish exterior and average performance. The bad.....Brakes with the AMG sport package will make a loud, disturbing noise when both weather and brakes are cold. Dealer says it is a known problem, MB USA confirms but does not have a fix. Opened a case with MB USA and they wont answer. Many complaints about this on forums. The noise is so loud that neighbors inside their homes have looked outside when I leave for work. Very embarrassing. Stay away from the black MB tex interior, it will sweat out a white waxy residue wheny it warms up in cold weather. If MB would stand behind their product, I would recommend but they dont. Buy a BMW.

  • Beautiful, but a bad "investment" - 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

Beautiful car with a great interior design with superior materials. Performance on the road is first rate. Like all Mercedes, the command and navigation systems remains second class. If you get a C-Class do not get the sport package or AMG package unless you like buying tires and having regular alignment appointments. Six tires in my first year, and now the car is in the shop having the engine replaced. Resale value is deplorable.

  • First Mercedes, not to happy - 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

Good: my average 30 m/g and the record on hwy 44 m/g, led light, sound with package Bad: eco stop/start was fixed by the dealer by replacing main computer, waiting for replacing hinge of the passenger door, start some engine noise on idle, bad driver seats(too tight), bad wipers response and too slow on heavy rain, wind noise, GPS by Garmin(do not buy it)

  • Wish I bought my 2013 C Class - 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
    By -

I leased a 2015 C Class when the lease was up on my 2013 and now I regret not buying the 2013. I like the interior on the 2015 much better and the styling is okay, but I absolutely hate the turbo 4. I have tried all modes and this engine has a great deal of turbo lag. Dealer says "thats just the way it is". I have to floor the car sometimes when merging on the highway and constantly use the paddle shifts because the engine does not seem to shift at the right time (in my opinion). The engine clouds my whole opinion of the car...Hoping I can get out of the lease early.
