Mazda has strengthened the Millenia's body structure to improve torsional rigidity 30 percent. Combined with a new rear stabilizer bar and a larger front stabilizer bar, improved handling is the result. Visually, the car should be more appealing thanks to new front and rear styling. The interior has been updated significantly, as well. Hardware changes include larger disc brakes, a revised ABS system and standard side airbags for both models.

  If you are buying a new Millenia S for $32,905, spend an additional three to four thousand dollars and get an ACCURA or LUXES. I bought mine for $26,500 so it was a good value.

  Overall, Ive been very pleased with my vehicle which I purchased with 17,500 miles and 1 year old. Ive had no significant problems with the car. If you are in the market for "near" luxury car for less than the Lexuss, Infinitys and Acuras, this car is a great choice.

  I have had my Millenia for about 2 months and have put on about 3000 miles. The Millenia is a competent car that excels at little but also does not disappoint. I like the styling and the fact that it stands out among the Camrys and Accords of the world. The ride is smooth and quiet. Acceleration is adequate, but mileage could be better. I have gotten around 26 on the hwy.

  Purchased my Millenia new even though my best friend could have sold me a loaded HondaEX V6 for the same price. "were still best friends" This car is the best Kept secret, Everything about this car is excellent. My favorite thing is the look of this car is the Look. The new 6 isnt even close. IMHO. Later!

  Strangers often ask if its a Jaguar! I love driving this car. Performs like a luxury car on the highway, but my favorite place to drive is a curvy country road. It knows how to hug a corner.

  This car kicks ass! Although I am 62" and it can be a little cramped, the performance and value is excellent. I picked one up with every available option, Hunter Green, beige leather, for $23988. Find a deal like that any where else.

  Other than the timing belt and IAC valve I have not had any problems with this car.It has a lot of pep for a tiny 2.3L V6,enough to entertain me on a boring day.

  Well-Balanced Between Ride and Handling - 2001 Mazda Millenia

  I have owned 2 Mazda 626s and 2 Mazda MPVs. My last 626 was totalled, so I decided to move up to a Millenia. I went and test drove one and knew right away it was the car I wanted. I found an "S" with the Miller-cycle engine. What a great engine! Smooth and quiet, yet very responsive. This car has a perfect balance between smooth, luxurious ride and road feel. Everything about the car says quality. The fit and finish is outstanding. The Miller-cycle engine should be an option for all of their vehicles that have V-6 engines. I have owned many Japanese and American cars. In my opinion for price and quality Mazda beats them all.
