Millenia models receive considerable price reductions to make them more competitive in the market. Mazda is also offering a special 2000 Millenium edition of the Millenia. This version comes with 17-inch chrome wheels, an in-dash six-disc CD changer, suede seat and door trim and a choice of either Highlight Silver Mica or Millennium Red Mica paint.
- Improved value, strong Millenia S engine.
- Mediocre interior, indistinct exterior, non-linear steering.

Best assembled auto I have ever owned! - 2000 Mazda Millenia
By N.EAST Johnny - September 20 - 2:00 amI bougtht my mazda for my wife because she loved its looks. Deeply discounted price for entry level luxury car also a factor. Was always a GM man (10 GMs 8 new from chevy to caddy)Since have purchased 4 new Toyotas big improvement in quality and reliability from GM. Also owned 1 Ford and 2 chrysler products (used). Although the Toyotas assembly were excellent, this car is perfect, nothing out of alingment or loose. The engine is not a great performer by any means. But is adequate for most. Comfortable car for 4 people. Cruises effortlessly at 80 mph. Only problem after 37,000 miles just happened this week, trunk release button will not open trunk.

2000 Used Mazda Millenia S for Sale - 2000 Mazda Millenia
By n_8dog - August 27 - 2:06 amThis car has amazing reliability history. I dont know why it never took off in sales. I mean, you cant get a sleeker, snazzier, roommier, sportier, car for the same price. It is my second S model, and I dont agree with the review given by Edmunds. I am selling mine to get into a house with all these low mortgage rates flying around. With the high ratings for reliability and build quality given by Consumer Reports, I think this is a great car.

Beutiful and Reliable - 2000 Mazda Millenia
By jbjuice - May 28 - 10:00 amThis car has been an incredible investment. Its fun, looks real nice (people mistake it for a Lexus) and did not cost me an arm and a leg. It was between this and an Acura TL. It was a hard decision, but the stretched out Accord came in 2nd (mainly due to the snobs at the dealership). Im glad I made this decision and will be just as happy with it 10 yrs from now.

Best looking car since Studebaker Hawk - 2000 Mazda Millenia
By rjoe1 - February 21 - 1:53 amPurchased the car new as my retirement car and only regret is having to burn premium fuel during times of gas crisis. Have yet to find any car as beautifully styled with its supercharged performance.

Check Engine Problems - 2000 Mazda Millenia
By Desperado - March 6 - 10:00 amCar over all is a descent car for the money probably the nicest car I have had in a while, but the check engine light has stayed on since I have had the car... First the O2 sensors were bad and the Map sensor and quite a few things inside the computer has gone wrong and the person working on the car said it is # 3 within 2 months that he has TRIED to fix.. I was asked today to go pick it up and take it somewhere else. Very frustrating to me, the dealer where I bought is seems not to care, and I have talked to several people that have bought cars and the same check engine problem with 5 that I know of.

Sleeper, not just in performance - 2000 Mazda Millenia
By Alumar - December 17 - 10:00 amPicked up the car on the ford-A plan, for 26,000.00 brand new (marked down from the 32,500 sticker price). Has been an excellent car and held up to what I have required from it. The car if took care of will last you a good time. With a few basic modifications you can get near 230hp/tq crank performance out of the millenia placing it up there with some competitors.

A Drivers Car - 2000 Mazda Millenia
By Jshores - November 21 - 10:00 amThe Millenia S drives uncommonly well. I consider it a luxury sports sedan. The driver sits low in the car in a firm comfortable leather seat. The view over the low hood line is virtually unobstructed. The car accelerates willingly and its taught suspension and wide low profile tires on oversized rims give excellent traction, enabling the driver to take substantial liberties with speed limits in turns. The car has a nimble and solid feel to it.

Millennium ED - 2000 Mazda Millenia
By Clint - August 26 - 7:23 amI bought the car 4 months ago at 50,000 miles. The most comfortable car with a really decent amount of performance. I love the car more than ever but I have been worried about letting the mileage stack up. It is such a unique car you want to retain possession of it but dont want anything to go wrong with the 2.3 miller cycle engine. The only people that can work on it is the dealer. Any other place will mess up your engine or charge you a lot more cause they dont realize its a somewhat experimental engine. All this said you CANNOT find this amount of luxury, performance, and good looks for the price you can currently buy these for. Try like crazy to find one low miles with a clean history.
