Overview & Reviews
The 2007 Mazda 3 sees a number of changes. Although these include a minor exterior refresh involving mainly the taillights, most are more functional. Now standard on all Mazda 3s are a tire-pressure monitor, an auxiliary input jack for the stereo, a rear-seat center armrest and an additional power point in the console. A stability control system becomes available on the Touring and Grand Touring trims.
- Athletic handling, refined engines, strong brakes, sharp styling, top-notch build and materials quality, hatchback utility.
- Top safety equipment either optional or on higher trims, tight rear legroom, so-so fuel economy with 2.3-liter engine.

Nice car to drive! - 2007 Mazda Mazda3
By Miguel - January 6 - 11:40 amI had to trade in my 06 Civic SI to lower my monthly payments, so I bought the Mazda 3 2007 and I like it a lot. Of course there is no comparison between those two, but the Mazda3 is nice and comfortable, trunk space is good, has great stability and good power.

Great Car - Fun Ride - 2007 Mazda Mazda3
By Ben - December 25 - 8:13 amThis is a great car! Ive been extremely pleased with it. It runs very smoothly and is fun to drive. For me the suspension is perfect, its not too soft, so you can feel the road, but soft enough that the ride is still smooth. I love the speedometer display, the layout of the thermostat and the audio controls (note: the Grand Touring thermostat controls are different than the lower models). The fuel economy isnt the best, but you get a peppy engine in return. This car offers a lot of features that you wouldnt expect in an economy car. I think the Mazda3 is a great car and I have no regrets about my purchase.

Great Car for the money - 2007 Mazda Mazda3
By greg cain - November 28 - 11:33 pmThis car is a blast to drive even after owning it for 6 months. It has almost all the features you would expect in a luxury car and has the performance to go a long with its good looks. The gas milage isnt what is advertised but then again none of the cars are. However, the transmition and engine work in harmony and I would sacrifice a little milage for the overall performance.

By Marcia - November 19 - 12:56 pmZoom-Zoom is right. The Mazda3 is an unbelievable ride. It has powerful acceleration, great handling, and good looks to boot. I found the average mileage to be around 28mpg. I couldnt be happier with my purchase.

Fun-to-dollar rating is high - 2007 Mazda Mazda3
By Paul - November 10 - 2:10 amI thought Mazdas Zoom-Zoom campaign was just marketing, but it actually describes the personality of the Mazda3. It has the functionality, versatility and economy of a small hatchback, but the fun-to-drive feature captured us. Numerous luxo touches. Overall, excellent value at this price point.

GREAT BUY! - 2007 Mazda Mazda3
By Frank - November 2 - 3:33 pmAfter 4 years with an Audi A-4, needed something more reliable (it had major, constant repairs) and economical, that was close to the pep, style and quality of the Audi. Found it in the Mazda 3s! Looked at the 2006 models, but didnt like interior fabrics so waited for 2007 models. Grey fabric is perfect. Over 600 miles so far, and love it. Rides great, plenty of zoom power, over 30 MPG, seats VERY comfortable, controls well designed, and surprisingly quiet despite prior 2006 reviews of "road noise". Audio sound system excellent, tight turning ratio, and easy to handle. Overall, a great ride and great value. Consumer Guide reports a long, trouble-free car life. Hope so. Perfect.

2007 Mazda3 - 2007 Mazda Mazda3
By Bret - October 25 - 11:13 pmI have never had a backache in my life till I bought this car. Now I have a brand new car and I am hobbled over with back pain. What a joy that has been! The car handles well, and it is designed nicely, and really looks nice from the outside, but I just cant get comfortable in the seat. The MP3 Player jack has a slight hum when I connect it to my satellite radio and that stinks, plus the interior black paneling on the doors gets random black marks all over the place. Sometimes the brakes squeak. Not to mention Its been in for service at least once now in the three months I have owned it. The dealership was very nice and friendly, but I hate the car.

Fun car - 2007 Mazda Mazda3
By Lori - October 17 - 9:06 amAfter having a very disappointing experience with my previous cars performance and reliability (2001 VW New Beetle) I am very pleased with how my Mazda3 drives and the quality of the vehicle. It just seems to be built better better than the VW. Its a fun car to drive and I get a lot of compliments on it.

My axela experience - 2007 Mazda Mazda3
By Axela3 - September 28 - 6:30 amI love the car hands down. It makes me happy whenever I turn it on. Sound system is decent along with everything in it. Only complaint is the fuel economy. If it can be improved by like 2-4 more miles Ill be happy. Im planning to add an intake system to increase mpg along with horpsepower. The value of this car is tremendous and I love it as much as my better half.
