  • Jeep the only way to Drive - 2000 Jeep Cherokee

Well except for the dealership I bought the jeep from it has been a wonderful experience and I am not starting the slow process of building it up for really radical off-roading fun. This thing is truly the sports car of SUVs. I can take corners almost as well as a lot of the modern muscle cars and with a rolling start (30mph-40mph) I can keep up with some of the big boys until I hit 95 or so then I back off :) PLEASE REMEMBER This is a SUV and as such it has a HIGHER Center of gravity

  • If you hadnt stopped making it....... - 2000 Jeep Cherokee

I leased my vehicle new in Jan, 2000. As like many others, its been in for (2) sets of front rotors and brakes. For those of you that keep loosing coolant "Guess what - its the cracked head!! that the dealers failed to notice all (6) times that I brought it back!" Its been a joy to own otherwise and wish they hadnt discontinued it for that hideous Liberty. Maybe if you bring it back with all of the improvements that you put on the Grand Cherokee, I just might buy another one!!

  • Best Vehicle Ive Ever Owned - 2000 Jeep Cherokee

This has been the best vehicle Ive owned. Although it has been in the shop a few times (its a Jeep) its still going. It gets me where I need to go when and how I need to get there. As a jeep that is stock, it outperforms some of its competitors in the off-roading department. My brother also has one. He has a great photo of his jeep pulling a Ford 4x4 (with all the extra add-ons for four- wheeling) out of the mud. If youre looking for an SUV that can haul, tow, drive through snow and mud w/o any difficulties, Jeep is the one! One more thing. When the back seat is folded flat, I can fit a dining room set with six chairs and the table. Tons of room!

We enjoy our 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. We use it on long road trips and enjoy the amount of passenger space and cargo space. We have a child and like the amount of space in the back seat and also the 4 doors, making it easier for him to enter and exit the vehicle. We also use our jeep off road and need the 4 wheel drive. Being a 4X4, this vehicle drives, handles, and rides great.

Small enough to fit into any parking spot, yet big enough to tear up any trail. The Cherokee is tougher and more reliable than any vehicle I have owned. Looks good, drives even better.

This is my 3rd Jeep in 4 years. My parents got a 96 Grand Cherokee Ltd. I fell in love and got a 94 GC Loredo v8. Loved it but bills forced me to sell it. I then got a 94 GC Ltd v8. It drove like a Caddy 4 wheeling. I got talked into a 2000 Cherokee Sport at the dealership. This was the best Jeep yet. 4x4 is way better than the Grands. The only thing I have to complain about is lack of leg room, and no cruise control on my model. Otherwise I recomend to any seriouse 4x4 buyer.

  • Someone convince Jeep to Bring it Back! - 2000 Jeep Cherokee

This was my first and only Jeep. Although it was a lease, I did go off road a few times and was greatly impressed of its abilities. Besides being reliable to and from work (a blast in the Mich. Winters), I also used it to lug around a fairly large drum set. The "Fern Green" never became a boring color either. Over- all, this was the best vehicle Ive ever owned!

Loud noisy engine. Uncomfortable rough bumpy ride. VERY VERY VERY bad brakes for all jeeps, ROTORS are all made inferior as per factory rep.

This is a great suv. With so many others coming out. The Jeep is the only choice for me. As an owner I know that I can get in and out of ski areas, camp sites, beach and anywhere else for that matter with no problem. I know that no matter what my JEEP is there and will deliver. Just as they were when they came out. I will always have a JEEP.

  • Off road Jeep that can handle the city - 2000 Jeep Cherokee
    By -

Ok to start off this is my second Jeep Cherokee as I hydolocked my last one, oops. I had to buy the Cherokee again as I am very impressed with its ability to handle difficult off-road situations without mechanical failure, a very reasuring feeling. The 6-cyl has the power on the road and on the trail. 4x4 is great in deep snow, sand and steep trail riding. I wish they would put the Cherokee back in production. I modified my Jeep to include a snorkel for deep water protection and performance, pretty sweet mod. Added Grill guard, wrench, skid plates, lift kit, serious roof rack. Solar power to keep battery tip-top, Hella Fog lights, air compressor, in dash GPS, laptop mount I love my Jeep!
