What a great Jeep! More than I ever expected. I wish I could buy nather one just like it brand new. Never had it in the shop for a repair. Other than 4 wheel drive all the time, no complaints.

Had her for 2 years. Picked it up used with 27K. Have only had 1 major repair bill for major 4WD repairs, something about induction. The car has pick-up on the highway (up to 85/90 mph). Took it up to Vermont all winter to hit the mountains, I only had trouble on ice/snow once or twice during a white out. I love it. Reliable to the bone.

M More trucklike than car. Great field of vision all around the car.No blindspots. The engine is strong &quick. Rear seats pop out for extra room. ore truck than carlike ride.

I leased this Jeep in Feb. 2000. I must say for the dollar it is a excellent choice. There are a few issues that I have with this vehicle: 1. Eats brakes and rotors on a reguler basis, has been back to jeep once a year for new rotors and pads. 2.Interior space is not on par with other SUVs out there. 3.Drivetrain noise is very high, but I have been told "It is a Jeep, not a Lexus." For the money, Chrysler did a competent job. But for the same money others are doing it better.

I bought my Cherokee used with 25,000 miles on it and have had no problems. I put around 90 miles on it per day so it gets a lot of use. It is extremely reliable and fun to drive, not too big & not too small.

Its cheap! But not cheap enough! I should have spent the extra 50$ a month and got a Blazer. Cool classic rugged styling, but, rough ride, BAD breaks, noisey, and below average overall quality. In and out for warranty work 7 times. Resale is very very bad,, cant find a dealership that wants another one sitting on their lot.

If you want a plush, smooth riding SUV, dont get a Cherokee. This is my 2nd Cherokee. They have been reliable, feel solid, (feels larger then it actually is) - well, compared to the newer and very big truck-like SUVs. Gas mileage: 17-19 in the suburbs,18-21 hwy. at about 65 too 70 mph. Feels smooth, and comfortable driving on good roads - you will feel bumps on poor roads - but considering Ive ruined tires and shocks with previous cars on pot-holes, etc... I dont have to worry about that anymore. Ac/heat work great, with floor ducts to the back seat. ...and its the classic Jeep look and feel that I want
