Overview & Reviews
Although the exterior styling may look familiar, Jaguar's historic sales leader, the XJ, has been completely redesigned for 2004.
- Supple ride quality, powerful V8 engines, roomier interior.
- Fussy interior controls, clumsy transmission shifter, CD changer is still in the trunk.

great car - 2004 Jaguar XJ-Series
By vr - September 16 - 10:00 amIf you like a big comfort type of ride the XJ Jag is top of the line. Its not as tight or quick as a Bemer, but not nearly as expensive and a whole lot better looking. Gas mileage sucks.

A beautiful car - 2004 Jaguar XJ-Series
By Doug Andresen - August 15 - 2:00 amI bought the car because Ive always loved the looks. The fact that they retooled it in aluminum and modernized the body but kept the "Jaguar" look really sold me. It is a very quiet ride and handles well. I thought it wouldnt be a big deal to upgrade the sound system outside the dealership but no one wants to mess with it. All in all, I love the car and look forward to enjoying it for many years.

OMG - What a car !! - 2004 Jaguar XJ-Series
By callum2 - August 3 - 5:25 pmWell, I have had my 2004 XJ8 for a week now and I cannot believe how awesome this car is. Full disclosure - I an 49 and waited a long time to drive the perfect car, I found it in the XJ8 I could not afford a new one and this 2004 is a close second best. I have a mercedes C320 ($58k new) wagon sports which I like, but the jag has it beat Anyone in the market for a 2004 with some low-med miles can expect a truley great car John beat Good news for those of us looking for a used Jag is there aint a lot of folks looking so proices are lower that Merc or BMW wagon sports with all bells and whistles and sports package 20 2002 and I like it

I hate my car. Its now a mid size Ford - 2004 Jaguar XJ-Series
By BB1 - April 3 - 2:00 amI have had 3 Vanden Plas and loved them. Ford has turned a beautiful Jaguar into a Bobbed Cat. They took all the extras out and put in stuff you see on most every cheep car. No back seatleg room at all, small doors, bad visibility hard to read middle panel. Looks like everything else on the road. What more dont you want in an expensive car? Please take mine.

Great Sedan and Reasonable to Operate - 2004 Jaguar XJ-Series
By GE1024 - March 3 - 5:23 amCATS air suspension really provides for a wonderful ride. The car sails on the highway with better gas mileage than you might believe for this 300 HP V-8 (I routinely get greater than 28 MPH highway and and average of 24 MPH with some in-town). The interior is lush. The experior appeal is super. Navigation works extremely well (get the 2007 disc). Sound system is super. If you happen to find one with the rear control-DVD system in the headrests, you will have the complete package.

My Best Car - 2004 Jaguar XJ-Series
By Tom Weber - February 20 - 2:00 amI have owned MBZ,AUDIS,Cadillacs and other Jags. I dont know how jag does it for the money. The germans just cant get it right when it comes to the luxury interior of their cars. Jag has the best interior of them all in its price range. I think for the money Jaguar gives you the best value for your money!!!!. I looked at Lexus LS430, and I would not pay that much for a japanese car. The mercedes was at least $15,000 more for less car. In my opinion the Jaguar has the best value for the money. This is by far the best Jag ever. Even my friends who have other luxury cars agree that Jag has hit a home run with this 2004 XJ.
