  • Great SUV - 2008 Hyundai Veracruz

The Veracruz is a very quiet smooth riding suv with very good quality, it has many extra features for the money. The only problem I have with the Veracruz is the gas mileage, it is less than I expected.

  • You get what you pay for - no great deal - 2008 Hyundai Veracruz

I bought a 2008 Veracruz AWD fully loaded except for the nav. At first I loved it. It looks great, rides super quiet unless the road is bumpy, & seemed to be more than it was. Little by little it started falling apart & a lousy service department isnt helping my love for the car. At 17k miles the front rotors warped & (Dis)Advantage Hyundai in Hicksville NY wouldnt honor it. Really? Your going to fight me on rotors at 17k mi? 1st red flag. Then there were 3 recalls which I respect as a good thing, except even with an appointment they took way too long & in summary ended up leaving a cover screw out and cross threading 2 others. When I noticed the missing screw I was accused of leaving it out

  • The Veracruz is WONDERFUL! - 2008 Hyundai Veracruz

I looked at them all but the Veracruz was clearly the best for me. I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality and numerous features of the Limited model. I chose the FWD version to get better mileage and slightly better performance,

Have had the Veracruz for 1 year and am still very pleased. No issues other than one minor recall. Very comfortable, very peppy. Nice fit and finish. Hyundai has come a long way.

  • Move over Mazda CX9! - 2008 Hyundai Veracruz

Hyundai Veracruz Limited Edition is the best SUV on the market!(personal Opinion) After buying a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica, which turned out to be a Lemon,(Buy Back) I had my mind set on the Mazda CX9. My husband kept telling me to look at the Veracruz before buying the Mazda CX9, and I am soo happy I did! This vehicle is nice and is loaded with the best stuff! Compare interior and exterior...but by far, Hyundai Veracruz has better Warranty and the dealership was 100% better on satisfying customers! Like everyone is saying...try it! You will be glad you did! No regrets here!

  • Totally Amazed - 2008 Hyundai Veracruz

After months of research, I chose the Veracruz and love it! This SUV is extremely quiet, has plenty of horsepower and is a pleasure to drive. The power lift gate is the bomb having kids and the third row seats come in handy when carrying the neighbors kids along. Great job Hyundai - keep up the great work! Id definitely buy another one!

  • Love My Veracruz - 2008 Hyundai Veracruz

I love this car. It drives smooth, is amazing on ice and snow and is just as nice to look at as the Acura everyone else seems to own here in Alaska. I was surprised at how quick it accelerates and it purrs at 70 to 75 mph. The Bluetooth is a feature that I will never live without. For the $ I paid ($24K) I feel like I got the best car for the money. I smile every time I drive it. Dealership support also has been fantastic.

  • Winter Update -- WOW Continues - 2008 Hyundai Veracruz

So, I reported in Nov-08 that I loved my Veracruz...well, that was before driving it in one of the worst snow storms weve had here in Seattle. This car is amazing in the snow! Mine is only a regular front wheel drive but the electronic stability control and traction control, along with the all weather 18" tires and shiftronic option allowed me to get around in 12" of snow while others were stuck. I was extremely pleased with the way this car managed very icy slick roads. I continue to love it!

I love my Cruz. Quality from front to back. They added little items like reading light, rear armrest with storage and more, make this car a joy. I smile as I get in to drive it. With the rebate of $4K you cannot go wrong. Watch out Toyota and Honda, theres a gunslinger in town

  • 50K Miles and still love my car - 2008 Hyundai Veracruz

Shortly prior to buying this car, I was doing a significant amount of traveling for work and so was renting a lot of cars. I had always been a honda fan, but was really dissapointed with the Accord. It just wasnt comfortable to drive. Then I had a Mazda, VW, Suzuki, and more, but I was most impressed with the Elantra. It had a great set up and was easy to drive. I went down to the dealership to look at Elantras and then I saw the Veracruz. I took a test drive and was blown away - So comfortable, nice set up of the control panel, just a really great vehicle to drive. I cant say enough great things about this car. Third row seat is just wonderful to have for carpooling with kids.
