Really Decent car - 1996 Buick Riviera
By Nick Warhead - November 24 - 11:39 amI bought the car for $1750 at 164,000 miles. The car still runs great and is reliable. I had to replace the radiator and the upper control rod bushing. It has an oil leak probably coming from the top end. Other then that, the car always starts and drives, and has not given me any trouble. Ive had a lot of cars that couldnt get past the 130K mark without blowing up. I feel if taken care of, I could get at 75,000 more miles on this car.

A keeper - 1990 Buick Riviera
By HarryP - November 23 - 4:26 pmBig, safe, powerful, smooth. This car gets about 26 mpg on the highway, yet has decent pickup and a high top speed. The center console is all digital and touch screen (factory), letting you know everything that is going on. Its had transmission issues, but its easy and cheap to find a replacement at the junk yard with decent mileage on it, being that the transmission goes in about 7 or 8 different GM models. Also, watch your speed in this car, I catch myself doing over 80 and it feels like most other cars do at 55.

By DiAnna - October 5 - 11:46 amThis indeed a really sleek beautiful, supercharged car. Very nicely built and holds up to about anything. I drive it in excess of 100 miles daily, never a problem

220,000 Miles and Still Going - 1996 Buick Riviera
By Jayhawkerkid - August 3 - 2:22 pmI love my Riviera and if it was still made would buy another. Very few problems, original transmission, and still drives like a dream. Ive never owned such a maintenance free car.

Very happy except - 1992 Buick Riviera
By Dave - July 5 - 2:54 pmIt is a great car. The only thing I dont like is the gas tank door on these tend to rust long before any other part for some reason. There are not that many in the bone yard so I spent a whole day trying to find one.

Best since 69 225 Electra - 1997 Buick Riviera
By lovethatriv - June 24 - 10:35 pmThis car is always a pleasure, even in the worst of circumstances. It has taken deep water on the road a few times with no problem. Once, when it did lose power, it maneouvred beautifully, and safely to the parking lane - no panic! However, at 11 years old, I get only 15-17 miles a gallon, but the performance and resulting safety are well worth it.

Maybach has nothing on me but price - 1995 Buick Riviera
By driver - May 15 - 3:05 pmI bought my car in 95. When I saw it I knew I had to have it. I have not been disappointed. In fact I have been quite surprised at the performance and comfort. I constantly drive from NY to Norfolk VA on a quarter of a tank of gas. I thought the gas guage was broken. But I have done it on numerous occasions and it is true. I love this car.

Love My Riviera - 1995 Buick Riviera
By Jerry Boswell - May 14 - 5:53 pmBasically I love to drive my Riviera with superb handling in year around Southern California weather. The interior is outstanding with all the needed controls on the steering wheel. On the down side, this is the only vehicle I have owned that can need repairs by just sitting in the garage. The mechanic bills have been frightning since I purchased it five years ago with apx 64,000 on it. I now have apx 95,000 on it and have put some $12,000 in it for repairs. Still love it!
