  • Last of the true road cars - 1995 Buick Riviera

This Riv is not just a beauty, it is one of the best riding cars I have ever owned. NO problems, just great to look at and and comforable to drive. It is a future classic.

  • HOW COULD THEY STOP SELLING SUCH A GEM! - 1999 Buick Riviera
    By -

I had my first Riv in 98 and put 40,000mi on it in 6mths so traded for a 99 - *the last of the best*. Ive driven this one across Canada in the winter snow, Ive commuted to Florida many times and its a breeze. This car has more guts than most, is SO comfortable to drive, lots of trunk space (2nd only to the Caddy SeVille,) sharp looking, and is just plain SEXY. Why on earth did they stop making them? GM - ya goofed big time! (as you did with the Olds Touring Sedan.)

  • GOOD CAR FOR YOUR MONEY - 1995 Buick Riviera

GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. SUPER CHARGED POWER. MOST COMFORTABLE CAR I BEEN IN. EVEN THOUGH A COUPE VERY ROOMY. STOCK STERO NOT SO GOOD. VERY RELIABLE. OVERALL GOOD CAR, NOT MUCH DEMAND FOR RESALE HOWEVER.

Traditonal smooth Buick ride. Reasonable gas mileage & accelateration but definately no speedster.

  • A Luxury Sleeper, Retro Style - 1998 Buick Riviera
    By -

The 95-99 Riviera is a large, comfortable, quick, attractive coupe. Its design feeds from the classic Riviera lineage, & has a very retro feel. There’s a spacious interior, soft ride, torquey engine, heavy (safe) chassis, & traditional style. It has a gorgeous body, its curves and edges continuing the classic-car look with a wide & low stature & pinched fenders. One of the last big & fast 2-doors, the Riv is a definite "sleeper”. Leather (heated & motorized) buckets, power everything, auto climate control, CD radio, self-dimmed mirror w/compass, huge trunk, and VERY quiet ride make driving a pleasure.

  • Best car ever owned - 1997 Buick Riviera
    By -

This car is a joy to ride and at 6 years old still turns heads. Gas milage is great. Only problem I have had is the Traction control unit went bad and its rather expensive to fix. Other then that, I still enjoy this car like the day I bought it!

  • FUN TO DRIVE - 1995 Buick Riviera
    By -

I personally never really thought the exterior design of this car was too great. Other people just love it and I get many compliments on it. Regardless of my feelings of the exterior, I love this car. It is very fun to drive. Accellerating around corners is the best! Goes great in snow and handles well on icy Wisconsin roads.

One of the finest automobiles I have owned and I have owned plenty! Only wish I could purchase a new on just like it. GM should never have changed/discontinued this model.
