  • Rivieras-Gotta Love Em - 1998 Buick Riviera

I have driven Rivieras since 1990 (2). At one time, I traded cars every 2-3 years, after buying my first Riviera, I just wanted to keep them. I have never had a Riviera to "stop" on me. My car has over 150,000 miles on it and the motor sounds like it did 10 years ago. Cant wait for the 2009/2010!

  • ONE OF THE BEST - 1992 Buick Riviera
    By -

My 92 Riviera is one of the best I have ever owned. The ride and drive are one of a kind. The 21 city/29 HWY that I get out of her is awesome. Buick does need to bring this car back. They broke the mold when they built this car. I would say, "buy this type of car" to anyone who ask.

  • Still Happy After 2.5 Years - 1995 Buick Riviera

I offered a review 2.5 years ago, and I thought Id give an update. Had to rebuild tranny nearly 1 year after purchase- $1800. That was a surprise, but nothing major since. Only expected, non-surprising things: replace radiator- $300, fix pssngr-side pwr window- $120, replace noisy supercharger- $750. I added custom-made cold-air induction, modified exhaust... car really screams now! Added 18" chrome wheels, manual air shocks, custom dark-blue paint with red pin-stripes, and a kick-butt sound system. I receive a lot of admiration, and I am always asked, "What kind of car is that?" I did lose the steering wheel control features due to factory sound system shorting out. I miss that luxury!

  • A Sweet Ride - 1995 Buick Riviera

I purchased this car from a Buick dealership. It had 14,000 miles and was everything I had been looking for in a car. Over the years it has gone to college for four years, Prom, Weddings, corn fields, mud, snow, good and bad streets, carried teens, grandkids and dogs. Through it all, it has handled every situation with grace. The only "major repair" was the harmonic balancer. Outside of that, just regular oil changes, new tires, and air conditioner. My entire family loves the Riviera. We would buy it again and wish that Buick would continue the car, adding a four door version and make it a crossover. Oh, yes, it now has 140,000 miles and drives as if it was brand new.

  • 286k and still going strong - 1996 Buick Riviera
    By -

Great vehicle. Bought used in 1999 with 48k miles. No major problems just normal wear and tear. Just bought new tires with 286k miles. Plan on another 100,000 miles. Riviera is now a family fixture. Will replace with a 98 or 99 Riv when the time comes.

  • Dream car - 1996 Buick Riviera

I bought this from a man who said it was to expensive to drive. I love it! It has been sitting for a year because of the price of gasoline. Have put a new battery in it and I hope to drive it for awhile now. Have thought about selling it, but just cannot let myself too. Would buy another if Buick made one.

  • Love my Riviera - 1996 Buick Riviera

I purchased my supercharged Riviera off the show room floor. This is by far the best, most dependable car I have ever owned. I now have 202,232 miles on this vehicle and it still runs like a top. I still get 26 mpg on the highway, and have always changed the oil every 3000 miles. I wish Buick would could back out with this car. Hopefully, I will be able to drive this car for another 100,000 miles.

  • great car - 1998 Buick Riviera

Got this car with 50,000 miles on it, and it has been wonerful. Maybe the most beautiful car G.M. ever built. Suspension was too soft but tightened that up with some preformance struts. It is comfortable, fast and considering size and mass economical, I get 29-30 mpg with the cruise set at 73-74 mph, 18 mpg around Pittsburgh {lots of hills} The body is so georgeous, I find myself studying the curves and lines, a masterpiece.

  • My Modern Buick - 1997 Buick Riviera
    By -

This being by far my newest Buick I must say with 191,000 its an amazing machine! Light blue exterior and dark blue leather its incredible. Comfortable to drive, powerful in any situation, and with 28-29 miles a gallon on highway its just what I need! I owned 2 58s and 2 59s and my 97 Buick and I will say that Buick has held on to quality a lot better then most other auto companies! Way to go Buick!

  • My Grandmas Car - 1997 Buick Riviera

Bought my grandparents Riviera a couple months ago. They bought it new in 97 and it only had 70K miles in 08. For $3000, thats a great deal. Seats are super comfortable, stereos nice, decent power and MPG. Steering is light as a feather. Gas gauge doesnt register correctly below half tank, but with over 300 miles per tank, thats not too big a deal. Definitely not a sports car, but its a major upgrade from my old 93 Mazda 626.
