By Sailorbob - September 30 - 10:00 amThis is the nicest, and most expensive, car we have ever purchased. I liked the prior years exterior styling a lot more. This is also the first Toyota we have owned, so we bought because of the brands history of reliability and not due to past experience. Is the car over-priced? Time will tell, but so far it has been worth the money.

By Warren - September 11 - 5:36 amExcellent quality. 3.0L engine may be a little small, but, still a good performer. In 2005, Toyota did put a 3.5L engine in the Avalon. The only real negative is the exterior design. It looks like a box coming down the road.

A little too much body roll for my taste but I can live with it. Brakes take an eternity to work so you must drive ahead. Thats my only complaint. DFealer said "slow down"

By TX Toyota Owner - January 21 - 2:00 amThis is the second Avalon weve owned (first one was a 98), and the 2003 is a much better car. The ride is very smooth, JBL speakers are worth the money, quality of car is excellent. One could pay more for a big 4 door, but why?! At least twice a month my wife comments on just how pleased she is to have this car & weve had it for a year. Its always great to hear that kind of feedback!

Excellent Auto - 2004 Toyota Avalon
By hf8553u - December 3 - 2:00 amThe car is completely reliable. Very low maintenance. Highway fuel economy consistently in the 30 mpg range. The car interior is quiet and roomy with a very good sound system. Handeling is also a plus for this vehicle. All in all a quality vehicle with good price range.
