Love my Matrix - 2003 Toyota Matrix
By Trigrl - February 20 - 2:00 amI love my Matrix. It is sporty looking and fun to drive. It fits my bike and surfboard inside...and I have actually camped inside the car and slept on the flat bed!

Not too bad.....BUT - 2003 Toyota Matrix
By toyota fan - February 13 - 10:00 amOverall a nice car, BUT there is always room for improvements. I learned quick that if you want good Toyota service, you sometimes have to file a complaint! The master cylinder went out at 4000 miles- needless to say we werent too happy and the service department wasnt very kind- but we just called the 1-800 number and had a little talk with Toyota- the problem was then solved correctly AND with a smile! Roomy ride, awesome design, and I love the interior! We did purchase the XR with the smaller engine just because I didnt believe the larger engine to be worth the extra cash. So far, after 8000 miles we are happy with the smaller engine.

This is One Tricked Out Pony - 2003 Toyota Matrix
By Prosim25 - January 31 - 2:00 amThis car drives like a high performance vehicle, but is a practicle utility vehicle. Inside it feels like an SUV its so big. I would recommend this car to anyone who is afraid to "grow up" to a mini-van but actually needs the cargo space and head room. And for anyone who lives around Western Massachusetts, I would HIGHLY recommend Toyota of Greenfield. After all the research that I did for this car, I only ended up paying $500 dollars over the invoice price. -Bill

Matrix 2003 - 2003 Toyota Matrix

I couldnt get the color I wanted no matter how hard I tried (they are selling out fast with the rebate on 2003 models). But, the car drives very well and looks cool. I like all the compartments inside to store stuff. And, it has a lot of room for the passengers. Since the vehicle is taller, I am also sitting up higher than in a normal car - almost the same hight as a mini-van. I test drove Honda, Saturn, Maza, Hyundai, and some others,a nd settled on this car as my favorite and most quiet.

By fgouge - January 12 - 2:00 amI looked at all the SUVs in the $25,000 and this has more than any of them! What a great looking, great handling, versitle car! Its a blast to drive and a joy to ride in! Toyota did it right the first time with the car! The 6 speed and safety features are the tops! This will be my car until I pass it to my daughter in 6 years for her first car! I know it will go the distance and then some!

Buy XRS if you can!! - 2003 Toyota Matrix
By Calshu - December 31 - 10:00 amAlthough I am very happy with my white Matrix, I am not used to 130 Horse Power (HP) after driving V6 Maxima for many years. Dont get me wrong. 130 HP is good enough, but more HP could of have been better. I should of pay a couple more thousands to get XRS model. Remember XRS comes with 180HP and 17 inch wheel vs XR only come with 130 HP with 16inch wheel. I havent seen any White Matrix. White is much better than silver. Toyota silver are ugly! Get either Cosmic blue, or red.

Great multi-functional car - 2003 Toyota Matrix

Back seats and passenger seat fold down enough to haul nearly anything Ive needed including a full sheet of plywood and other lumber. The only down side to the sport model is that it requires 93 octane gas, though, I get approx 28 mpg.

Great Looking - 2003 Toyota Matrix
By Jeff03 - November 22 - 10:00 amBought the car brand new fully loaded except for the DVD navigation (I dont usually get lost) and the car has been excelent towards me. I mostly have been driving it on the highway averaging about 400 miles/wk and with no problems. I was getting about 36- 37 mpg when highway driving. Now that I do mostly city driving I am averaging about 32mpg. Great car for the money. I would not really buy a new one again because of deperasion.
