Overview & Reviews
A sporty new XRS model debuts boasting a 170-horsepower engine and a sport-tuned suspension. Additionally, all Corollas receive a restyled front fascia and rear taillights. The LE model now has Lexus-like Optitron instrumentation, along with a cloth-trimmed center console and sun visors. Side curtain airbags, stability control and a JBL audio system are all new options.
- Refined and roomy interior, excellent gas mileage and crash test scores, long list of safety features, spunky XRS model, illustrious reliability record.
- Awkward driver-seat position, bland personality, gets pricey when even basic features are desired, sedan body style only.

Love my Corolla - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Stan Hillyard - December 27 - 2:36 pmThe main selling point was visibility. The Corolla drivers seat allows better rear visibility for a shorter driver (my wife) than the Civics we looked at. Having purchased it I love to drive it. It is very solid at freeway speeds and carries 4 people comfortably. I get the advertized 30 mpg in the city and 35-37 mpg driving from Las Vegas to LA at 85 mph with the air conditioning on. The air conditioning handles Las Vegas summers and doesnt underpower the engine. The trunk is large. My only complaint is lots of road noise on some old concrete freeways, probably due to the stiff suspension (that we love).

Im glad to have a Toyota own - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By coloradorocks - December 18 - 10:00 amSince that Im college student. I love this car. With all the room in th trunk and the back seat I am able to move all my stuff to college and back home. The interior is really nice. I like that layout of the buttons for a/c, rear windopw defroster, and etc., because then I reach over really quick and my eyes stay on the road. Compared to my other cars that I owned in the past. I sit up higher to have better visiability.

For the Price, It is Well Worth It!!! - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Alexiander Soler - October 5 - 9:10 amThe price that was paid for this vehicle, I would have to say that it is well worth it. The Corolla LE is extremely comfortable, reliable, and fun to drive. It saves me plenty of money on gas, where as there are times that I do not have to fill the tank for at least two weeks. I think that I made the right choice on this one.

My 1st Toyota and lovin it - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Rogo1976 - September 18 - 10:00 amIve recently traded in my 2004 Corolla for a 2005 and Im glad I did. The 05 has a better feel, is smoother and quieter. I have been very pleased with the performance of this car as well as its reliabilty and think that it was the best purchase decision. The added power locks and cruise control option is definantly a plus and comes in handy. Will definantly purchase another Toyota product when I need to.

Toyota Corolla : My little BMW - 2005 Toyota Corolla
By Susan Milner - September 15 - 2:23 amI know, I know, I only have 2500 miles on my new Corolla, but its so much fun to drive! The doors close magnificently; the motor purrs; the interior is quiet; the gas mileage is excellent. It handles like a little sports car. Ive have owned three Hondas before this Toyota. I have to say, after test driving the 2005 Civics and Corollas, there was no comparison. Honda definitely has some catching up to do.
