An eye-catcher... Definitely - 2008 Nissan Altima

I have driven a few cars before but the acceleration on this vehicle just blows everything else out of the water (and I only got the 2.5S!). In fact, if I dont pay close attention, the majority of my drives are at 20 over the speed limit. If you want a beautiful, sporty car with the price tag of a mainstream car, this is most likely it. I got to say though, the back seats are really not comfortable. Ive seen some reviews say the rear space being mediocre in comfort; I think thats an understatement. My roommates children (both under 10) can barely fit but I guess the target demographic of this car was never for "family" passengers.

By Ramirez - February 11 - 6:43 pmgot my nissan 3 years a go same time my sis.(lincoln) happy with the little car no major repairs amaze how much after market parts to upgrade the car are available my sis was =( after lots repair on the first year of her luxury car,even for a 4 cylinder car is enough for city and travel (arkansas to florida) not much tech. for the year but my phone does everything this days well done paying the car thinking trading for a xterra so review please the quality before you buying just bcse is v8 and has airshocks doesnt meant is better .. thanks

Best Bang for the Buck - 2008 Nissan Altima
By ducksquat - February 4 - 10:56 amWith gas prices soaring and my Jeep Wrangler eeking out a pathetic 14 mpg average, I had to do something about it. At 64", I needed a vehicle that would accommodate my size and be useful for an upcoming baby. I just didnt fit without my head bumping the roof in the new Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and Hyundai Sonata. But, much to my surprise, the Nissan Altima was a winner in terms of "fit." Im very impressed with the power of the 4- cylinder, which felt much like what I had in my old V6 Accord. It rides very smooth, quiet and is refined. Im very glad I bought this vehicle and have absolutely no buyers remorse. It has a great aggressive style to it and wonderful for touring.

Best sedan hands down - 2008 Nissan Altima
By clangille - February 4 - 7:33 amThis has to be the most powerful & smooth 4 cylinder engine ever built. Not worth the extra for the 6 cylinder, trust me. The drive and handling are comparable to that of a $40k-$50k sedan. Interior is quiet, comfortable and extremely roomy. You get alot of car for the money, with great standard features. Vehicle is sleek and classy yet sporty all at once. Great gas mileage as well. Excellent all around car!

I like this car - 2008 Nissan Altima
By tazz62 - January 21 - 3:06 amI have had this car since October. This is the best car that I have ever owned. It drives great. I love the CVT except when going down hills. The transmission makes a humming noise. The dealer said this was normal and there was nothing to worry about. I like the keyless remote except I have to keep my windows and trunk locked, because they were opening. The dealer said that if the button hit something, that they could open your window and trunk. The only thing I didnt like was how Nissan packages their options. I really did not want a sun roof, but to get the leather seats, I had to get the sun roof. Also, I wished the outside mirrors would fold down.

Best of both worlds - 2008 Nissan Altima
By mike - January 3 - 10:40 pmI had no plans to buy this car. I was looking to replace my 1996 300zx tt, which I sold a few years ago. My wife was complaining about having 3 cars to deal with in the driveway. My daily driver is a 2003 altima. I pulled up next to one and it really caught my eye. The next day I went to the dealership and took a test drive. I knew I would be taking it home. Although, not a 300zx tt, it is sporty quick, fits the 5y/o in the back seat and is only one car in the driveway. Drive it and youll buy it!

Basically this vehicle out performs camry, accord, and any other sedan in its class by a long shot. If you are considering a Altima, quit thinking and go get you the best sedan ever built!

Curves are made a lot smoother and the car does not lean like my old car use to do. The autostick gives you manual when you need it especially when coming down a mountain, what a brake saver. We love it.

By ED - November 30 - 9:53 pmI have about 2000 miles on this car and it has never given me a single problem, the Nissan seal of approval really means something, it means youre getting a quality car! Love the CVT, love downshifting! People think I have a sound system when its just the stock system that came with the car! A/C is really great! I get about 32 MPG highway and about 26 MPG city! Love the keyless entry, has a huge trunk I can fit anything in it. Love the new design and the new taillights.

Unbelievable - 2008 Nissan Altima
By Robert Walker - November 26 - 11:40 pmI have had this car going on two weeks. It is one beautiful car. Handles crisply, esp around corners. For a 4 banger, it really goes! I test drove and researched many cars for about 6 months. For the bread, this is by far, the best deal. I feel good in this car, and enjoy many of the stares it gets. I have the slate color, with the convenience pkg. The seats are firm, but comfortable, even at 63, 230 pounds. My son is 65, he loves my car, and hijacks it from me every time he comes home, lol. I would highly recommend this car to anyone. Makes me feel young again.
