Overview & Reviews
The new model year brings freshened exterior styling to the C-Class. A new dash, redesigned seats and tweaked trim pieces help to polish the interior up a bit, as well. A new audio system with six speakers and a CD player is standard across the board. Further updates include an improved short-throw six-speed manual transmission and revised suspension tuning. A DVD-based navigation system is newly available, while the C320 wagon has been discontinued. The complimentary scheduled maintenance program has been dropped for 2005.
- State-of-the-art safety and luxury features, three body styles to choose from, pleasing power from top V6 engine.
- More expensive than competitors, ordinary cabin furnishings, small backseat.

Theres nothing like owning one! - 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By Cheryl - August 27 - 10:56 amThis is my second C-Class. My first (2001 C240) was so phenomenal that I hesitated trading it for this one. I can honestly say that this car is an improvement over my old one! Naturally it is more powerful (almost too powerful!) and it commands your attention.

This is the CAR - 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By COMPLA768 - August 19 - 8:23 pmMy First MB. It is fun to drive, takes curves like it is on rails. 1/4 clocked at 100 mph. With the adjustable steering wheel and CD Changer and all the options, it is such a luxury. My 3 year old eggs me on "Go Faster Daddy". Dont bother buying this car without the 4matic. My neighbor has one and he spends more time digging it out from the snow than driving it.

By Ronmitch - May 29 - 4:40 pmThis is the Best small car on the market. This Car is luxury in a small package. When you close the door of this car it feels like youve closed a vault. Solid, smooth, and it rides like a big luxury sedan.

Great choice - 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By ChuckinTucson - April 1 - 4:20 amThis my 9th Mercedes-Benz. I really like this car a lot. Mine is Orion Blue with Ash interior, and gets a lot of compliments. I bought Yokohama S- Drive tires for it right after I got it, and love the comfort ride, and the handling. Great combination of car and tires.

Best yet - 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By Oaklandish - March 26 - 2:43 pmIve owned 10 cars and this car keeps delivering me smiles. Ive gotten 35 mpg on the way to la. I consistently get 27 mpg. This car meets all my needs and more. I bought this car used with 40k miles and it has 55k miles on it now. Carfax report says car has had transmission work done. Tranny sometimes stays in first if car is cold then shifts roughly. This is a rare occurrence.

About the Mercedes-Benz 2005 C320 Lux Se - 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By Susan J. Whitehorn - March 24 - 10:00 amSo far this car has more than met all of my expections. Its performance, drive, ride and technical qualities are superb. I am extremely pleased with how I have been treated by the people where I purchase the C320. They have been very courteous, professional, and helpful and their follow-up has been outstanding thus far. The only downside to the car is that its interior size is a little tight. I knew this when I purchased the car.

Awesome - 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By asiafish - January 18 - 3:46 pmFast, fuel efficient, stylish and supremely comfortable. This is my second C class (previous 2001 C240) and is by far the nicest car I could find with 30+ MPG highway.

Perfect Blend of Performance and Luxury - 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
By Robert Gross - January 6 - 2:50 amA relative bought a C32 three years ago and Ive been lusting after a similar car since. Drove the GTO - performance but not enough luxury. Drove the Acura RL - luxury but not enough performance. The C55 is a perfect blend. Needed a sedan to fit the grandkids. Needed an automatic to satisfy the wife. Did I compromise? Not in my book. I have a huge grin on my face every time I get in the C55 and fire up that big v8!
