Overview & Reviews
The Mazda 3 is an all-new economy sedan and hatchback that replaces the Protege in Mazda's lineup.
- Fun-to-drive character, stylish interior design, strong engines, hatchback utility.
- Ride might be too stiff for some, a few ergonomic quirks, tight rear legroom.

1st New Car - 2004 Mazda Mazda3
By Dill - September 9 - 2:00 amAfter having researched this car I found that it was the best in its class. After having drove it, I found that its the best on the road. This car looks good, feels great, and is priced even better. I bought this car with all of the options available and I am very pleased with the results of each of them. I have no regrets about my purchase, and recommened this vehicle to anyone.

2.3 with 5-speed bliss! - 2004 Mazda Mazda3
By Phun 4 U - September 9 - 2:00 am5-spd is smooth & fun to flick through the gears. Motor has a sweet spot at 4,000 RPM. I love to rev this baby! It begs to be pushed! Seats are firm and comfortable. I found myself blasting off a country road & onto a highway, changing lanes, and almost planting my front end into a police cruiser. This car is going to get me into trouble. I drove a bonneville before this. I felt age 55. Mazda3 makes me feel 25 (Im somewhere in between). Big improvement from the Protege (loud, buzzy & underpowered). Mazda3 looks great from almost all angles. This car cuts corners like a henkel carving knife. Fantastic BMW- like driving experience!

Great affordable car - 2004 Mazda Mazda3
By benpax - September 9 - 2:00 amJust bought the mazda 3i today, and drove all over 100 miles for fun. Handles great, smooth ride, and suprise on the acceleration. Drives like a sports car, but only a compact. The 3s have more add ins, but the price of the 3i you cant beat.

new car good looking and fun - 2004 Mazda Mazda3
By Cindy Garruba - September 4 - 10:00 amI bought this car two weeks ago and really have enjoyed it so far. It is fun to drive and a lot of people have been asking me about it in parking lots and around town. Even my teenage daughters friends like the way it looks.

Alot of Bang For your Buck - 2004 Mazda Mazda3
By fonzi37 - August 29 - 10:00 amVery quick and handles excelent. The brakes are exceptional, probably overkill. ave. fuel economy 31mpg. What more could you ask for out of a $16,000 car. The most bang for your buck out there.

An Audi for 20K less . . . - 2004 Mazda Mazda3
By Miyoshi Chen - July 28 - 2:00 amIve driven many compact and midsize cars over the years, including the Sentra, Civic, Focus, Cavalier, Lancer, and Corolla, as well as the Accord, Camry, and Mazda 6. I will honestly tell you that very few cars come close to the value and quality of this car. Whether you choose the smooth 5 speed or convenient 4 speed, you cant go wrong. This car has the poise to perform in stop and go city traffic, the ability to break free on the open road and through the twisties, and has the build quality to rival cars that cost 10-20K more. With the orange/red accents, you feel like youre in an Audi A4 instead of a Mazda.

ALOT OF BANG FOR THE BUCK! - 2004 Mazda Mazda3
By will1505 - July 28 - 2:00 amMazda could have priced this car several thousand dollars higher and the would still sell...I compared this car to the Toyota Matrix/Pontiac Vibe and the Honda Civic...Way more fun and for my money a tighter car. Handles great, pick up in automatic is good but if you want more you can throw it into the clutchless mode and control the shifting yourself.
