  First time Kia Owner - 2011 Kia Sorento

  This is my first Kia vehicle. My last vehicles were a Chevy Cavalier & a Chevy Trail Blazer and I must say I was very hesitant when I decided to go with Kia. But I have been very impressed with my Sorento. I decided to go with Kia for mainly two reasons. First, Kias warranty is far better than any of their competitors. (10 Year, 100,000 Mile) And second, The Sorento was the only crossover that offer the most features and the highest safety reliability for the buck. I have been very satisfied and I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking for a great SUV. (looks like a high-end luxury vehicle for a mid-range price)

  We bought our Sorento new in 2011 and have been driving it for 3 1/2 years now. We have been very happy with our purchase! We bought the Sorento instead of a Toyota Highlander due to the significant difference in price. The SX has all of the bells and whistles we wanted and we have not had any major problems with it in the 3 1/2 years that we have been driving it. Our vehicle has almost 40K miles on it now and we have driven it mostly in town and short highway trips of 2-4 hours. I still love the exterior design (even more than the newer Sorentos). And our local Kia dealership has been great for service. I would highly recommend this car.

  We enjoy our new Sorento. The V6 must be on steroids. Rides well. It is stiff, but I wanted stiff. Corners great. Handles bumps and holes just as good as the Mazda CX7 and Chevy Equinox. Quiet ride. Bluetooth works great with both our phones. Opted for EX for driver seat adjustments and it is a comfortable seat. The third row will be nice with grandkids. Doors sound solid when closing. Smartkey is a great feature. Headlights light up the road and countryside. Radio works well; auto climate works quickly. Braking is consistent and stable. Opted for black clothe w/ leather like trim. Looks smart, feels good. Have not been able to test out AWD ability. Glad we purchased, would purchase again.

  Just took delivery of the Sorento and I can say Im well pleased. The warranty, fit and finish, paint are excellent. Its alot of car for the money, esp. in todays dollars and what new cars are selling for..I opted for the 6 cyl. I didnt feel there was that much diff. in mileage in the long run. I will update as the year...summer etc. continues. However, so far Im Impressed.

  I have owned and driven many cars in my 26 years of driving and can honestly say that the Kia Sorento is the best car I have ever driven.I am a big 6 foot 3 300lb+ guy and the front seat driving position has the most room I have ever had in any car/suv.I am very comfortable and never feel cramped or strained in the seat.The 4Cyl 6 speed automatic is fine for me.The car is incredibly quiet on the road and often sounds like it is not on.The suspension is very smooth and there is no body lean whatsoever with this car.The turning radius is incredible.The interior design is high end and the exterior is more masculine than other "girly cars".I love this CUV and am glad I bought it.

  Have had car for 2 weeks and love it better looking than the crv and rav4 have had people tell me it looks like a acura couldnt be more happier have noticed on uneven road it does tend to pull a little as mentioned in another review. could use a bit more space in the back with the 3rd row up. other than those just a great car to own.

  We also own a Kia optima 90,000 miles. You will love the warranty on your sorento roadside assistance is great. No one but Kia has enough faith in their vehicle to have a 100,000 mile warranty except Hyundai which is going to be made in same plant in ga everybody need a Kia

  Performance, fuel, design is great. I had it for 3 years now with 24,539 miles. Drives great especially on road trips (maybe except for the leather is a little firm). MPG is what they said it was. No problems yet inside and out. My wife and I like it so much (KIA) that 6 months after, we bought a 2010 KIA Forte w/ 6 speed auto transmission and electric motor steering.

  Had my SX one week. First tank 20 mpg. Love the Handling and ride (very European), and the many safety and function features. After researching many reviews and driving various competition from Nissan, Subaru, Honda, as well as Sorento 4, and 6 cylinders, bought the SX. The double valve shocks and suspension features on the SX make handling like a sports sedan. Best SUV feature and quality for dollar available IMO.

  Yep..I know that car magazines get advertising money paid by all the auto manufacturers. And some reviewers are also funded by them. So their reviews may be skewed by Not me! I dont get paid by any manufacturer. And this is my review on the 2011 KIA Sorento SX! We research a lot before we buy just about any major purchase. Weve had 17 new cars in the past 21 years. Toyota sedans, sports cars (MR2 Supercharged!), and SUVs. Honda Sedans and SUV, Dodges, Several Ford SUVs and 2 mini-vans, etc. And we are informed buyers, and PICKY! So when we went shopping it was to replace our Mazda5 "van"...which we were giving to our Daughter for college.
