Purchased Sorento SX AWD in Ebony Blk to replace 06 Sportage EX AWD. Had no problems w/ Sportage, but wanted something a little roomier. So far,(1800 mi.),decision was GREAT! Getting 2 MPG better overall with Sorento than smaller Sportage and performance is far better. Some other reviews of EX and LX models complain of harsh/stiff ride, but the DFD shocks on SX must take care of that, as ride/handling is terrific. Very good value,as any comparable vehicles with same equipment/features run $6--8k more.

  • 2011 Kia Sorento is Awesome! - 2011 Kia Sorento

Weve owned the Sorento for about a month now and we love it! We got the premium and limited package so it has all of the bells and whistles. I cant beleive how much car we got for our money. They are selling these vehicles way to cheap. In the end nothing could even compare to the value and styling both interior and exterior or the Sorento. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone in the market for a new small size SUV.

  • Awesome Sorento! - 2011 Kia Sorento

So happy with my new Sorento! Traded in my 2006 Sorento for this major improvement. 4 cylinder AWD has more than enough power to get up Seattle hills. Cant wait to go test it out in the snow. Love the standard features of bluetooth, steering wheel controls, and ipod dock. You MUST get the convenience package! An extra $500 bucks or so gets you fog lights, roof rack, back up sensors, and a back up camera in the rear view mirror. After all of the rebates, loyalty discount, and dealer cash, I was able to get out the door for just over $20,000. Bought on last day of the month too.

This is our first Kia. We have been a Ford and Dodge only family. Since the Sorento is USA made I felt better about the branding issue. This new Sorento 2011 is really different and superior than the 2009, which we compared side by side. Kia skipped 2010 production. This car is a crossover and compares to the Ford Flex and Rav4. The big difference is price, about 30% more bang with Kia. Read the Edmunds review about the Kia 2011 Sorento, it is similar to my opinion. Smaller engine power was not enough to keep me from buying, and hope to get 24 Average mpg. We bought the LX with convienience package. Be sure to check KIA web site for special offers, they have many special offers.

  • The SX is awesome - 2011 Kia Sorento

Kia did it right again! I had an 05EX and loved it. The SX has everything my EX was missing. I have the SX FWD with everything except AWD and sunroof. I plan on enjoying at least 5-7 years with my SX before I trade it in for the next generation Sorento again! GO KIA! Keep up the good work!

  • New to Kia....Left Toyota far behind! - 2011 Kia Sorento

I have been a long time Toyota purchaser, but decided to jump over to Kia and its warranty. What a pleasant surprise! I was immediately impressed by the power and styling of this vehicle. Lots of gadgets and bang for your buck. Handling is great and it;s real easy to park with the backup camera. My initial impressions exceeded any Toyota I have purchased in the past(including the 4Runner). There was a little "break-in" period. It seemed like there was a little "bouncing/vibrating" coming from the tires. It may have been just me looking for something, but it was completely gone within the first 50 mile of its life. I rated the reliabilty as an 8,since its brand new and only time will tell.

  • Love My Sorento - 2011 Kia Sorento

I traded down from an Expedition EL Limited to the Sorento SX and I would NEVER go back. I love it. I wanted something with 3 rows but with better gas mileage. I test drove everything under the sun before finding this one. It is so fun to drive, but watch your speed, I got pulled over within two days. I learned very quickly to use the cruise. I love the red lighting, sunroof, sound system, and especially the bluetooth. I also love the push button start. I never have to get my keys out of my purse. MPG is just as described on sticker. I have had no problems and would recommend this vehicle to anyone.

We bought a 2010 Rav4. Recall, poor customer service and poor comfort drove us to reevaluate. The Sorento surprised both my wife and I. Very comfortable stable and powerful platform. We love all the standard features. They all seem to be very smart, just what you need but not a lot of gimmicks. Time will tell how well it all holds up.

  • great car - 2011 Kia Sorento

Im a Toyota guy for the past ten years, I owned three different Toyotas, Camry, 2 4runner, but let me tell what Kia sorento totally blown me away with its looks and performance. I traded in my 4runner and got Sorento 2011, it was smart move because Toyota dealership was too spoiled and very bad customer service. Im very pleased with my Kia sorento 2011 purchase, I got sorento v6 ex awd, and it has all the goodies and Im loving it. I would highly recommend sorento 2011 for all those new car buyers, you should check it out and test drive. Youll definitely fall in love with it. And its make in usa. You go sorento.
