The LX model is now available with a sport package that includes a new five-speed manual transmission, side step bars, Michelin tires, alloy wheels, roof rack, leather-wrapped steering wheel and keyless entry. A two-tone gray interior color scheme is also new, and metallic interior accents replace last year's wood grain accents.

  MY NEW KIA RIDES LIKE A CAR AND IS BUMPY ON UNPAVED ROADS. EXTERIOR DESIGN IS EXCELLENT. INTERIOR DESIGN IS GREAT WITH ALL THE ANEMENITIES YOU WOULD EVER NEED IN THE "EX" SERIES. THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS VECHICLE ON THE LONG HAUL IS V/G. AROUND TOWN IS NOT SO GOOD WITH VERY POOR MILEAGE CITY/HIGHWAY WAS A LITTLE BETTER. A/C WAS ALWAYS ON ? A GREAT VECHICLE AND THE PRICE IS EXCELLENT ALSO. FOR MY MONEY THE EX VERSION IS CMPARABLE TO VECHICLES OF WHICH COST MUCH MORE THAN THE SORENTO. THE SORENTO IS EASY TO GET IN & OUT OF WHICH IS AN IMPORTANT FEATURE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.

  Overall very nice ride. Some simple improvements from Amer. counterparts would be nice. Very solid and high performing 6 cyl.

  Let me just start by saying I love my Sorento! Not only did it come with EVERYTHING standard, but it was way less than the other car companies. Plus, it has the best warranty ever. Its fun to drive, way stylish, and dont tell Kia, but I think they could get away with pricing it $5000 more and still be way ahead of everyone else.

  My experiences with the new kia sorento are great.Since the day me and my Wife test drove it and did some reserch we went back to buy it. Since that day we have no regrets. It was the best decision in our lives for our family.we took long trips and short trips 2 miles to 1500. miles and it still feels the same.Its well disigned exterior and interior are beautiful and makes it the best suv in its class.

  gas tank problem - 2004 Kia Sorento

  Hi! I Love my Kia. My problem is The last two times I filled the gas tank.. 1st time it didnt even registar that I put $40. of gas in it the 2nd time it took forever for it to register $30 of gas 3rd time filled fine but while sitting at an idle I went from 3/4 tank to 0 and slowly went back up to 3/4 dropped a little and back up again it is really strange. Has anyone any info one this problem?

  I have had my Sorento for almost 3 years without any problems. The car runs great, takes trails with ease and is very sure-footed in the snow.

  I like my Kia, but I do not love my Kia. I went from an Expedition to a Sorento, so it was quite the shocker. It drives nice, but has an extremely uncomfortable back seat. Hard to get in and out of the back seat. The front seat isnt so roomy either. It drives nicely, and has plenty of power, but next time Id opt for a larger SUV. Gas mileage is mediocre.

  This truck is an unlikey member of the KIA family. Reminds me much more of a Mitsibishi or Nissan product. Dont let the name KIA turn you off. Its a good truck. Still too expensive though compared to what else you can get from other companies. Especially considering the rebates being offered now from GM and Nissan. When we bought this Sorrento, I had no idea that the other companies were discounting so much. Before buying a Sorrento, check with the other dealers to see what you can get for the same price. Again, good truck,will do everything it is designed for well, not great, but well.
