  • Childs safety Before My comfort always - 2005 Kia Sedona

This van is not a bad choice at all. Sure it isnt very roomy when it comes to cargo space but with the adjustments and removals available, you can make room. Its the safety that matters people. Would you rather get into a wreck with cargo space or get into a wreck knowing you have a 5 star rating? Yeah, me too. When driving this vehicle, you know you are safe and you just feel safe. You have the good view (except rear view, which is limited) . You think you have your brights running when you dont, the headlights are so good. Interior is quite amazing also. Everywhere you look you can place something, lots of storage and plenty cupholders. You get your moneys worth, ***The Warranty***

I have had my Sedona only 6 months and so far it has been almost perfect. I have no kids, but often carry music equipment. It was easy to remove the back seats to give me extra room. The driver seat adjustments have made it very comfortable to drive. I had a minor accident last month and rented a smaller, sportier hatchback while my van was in the shop, and couldnt wait to get my Sedona back, not just for the room, but for the comfort and the way it handles. My only concern right now is the fuel mileage which is probably due to the weight of the van coupled with the size of the engine, but the price, warranty, features, handling and comfort make up for that.

My Sedona EX is exactly the minivan that we need for our travels and hauling of personal items. Visibility is excellent, road noise is minimal and it is fun to drive. Gas mileage is very bad averaging around twenty-two mpg. All controls are perfectly placed and gauges are easy to read.

  • Worst car Ive ever owned - 2005 Kia Sedona

Im glad Kia offers a 60 thousand mile warranty, because I had to have this lemon in 8 times for warranty work. Many times the work was for the same problem over and over (cheap seat covers that tore, gear shift that locked up, locks that locked the car on it’s own, mechanical issues of all kinds). I’m over 60 thousand miles now, and the car is just slowly crumbling. There’s no way I’m ever buying a Kia again after this.

  • This thing wont die! - 2005 Kia Sedona

I have an 05 Sedona and this van is surprisingly the most reliable van I have ever seen. Kias cars are crap but this van has 306,234 miles on it right now and still runs like the day it came off the showroom floor. The engine is so quiet you cant hear it run and the transmission still shifts like it should. I love the room inside and the seats are easy to remove. Ive even hauled my jetski in it a few times! I keep the oil changed with 10 w30 Mobil 1 synthetic. That may also account for the great gas mileage I get in this van. It only uses a quarter tank up and back from my house to my mothers house which is about 80 miles away as long as you keep the mph fairly steady. Keep that in mind.

  • Great family vehicle - 2005 Kia Sedona

We bought our Van 2 weeks ago and love it.We have three small children and when looking around for a van we wanted one with a lot of storage/room as well as an affordable price. The Sedonas inside design allows for plenty of storage and I love all the cup holders and A/C Adaptors. We also liked that the dual slide doors comes standard on all models. The one thing I would change would be the width of the van.We have the model that has captain chairs and it is a little difficult to walk between the two seats.I have noticed on other vans the body is much wider.Other than that we love this van.We intend to keep it a long time. The great thing about Kia is the warranty! 100K/10years.You cant beat it

  • The best van - 2005 Kia Sedona
    By -

I had a van for sixteen years and knew it was time to start looking for a new one. We looked at Ford, Honda, and then Kia. We stopped looking! We bought our Kia in December 2004. We love it. I went from hauling my children to hauling my grand children. I just cant say enough good about this vehicle. Great gas mileage(especially with the gas prices),the price paid for the van was heaven sent(affordable). Thank you, Sandy & Eddie Rehrer

We rented a Sedona for a family vacation and loved the way the vehicle ran and the comfort. After we got back we started looking around for one and got our Sedona in November 2004.

i like the style and handling of this vehicle. Ive been driving 36 years and have driven almost every type of vehicle on the road. To me this is one of the best. the handling is not like a sports car but to me it is better than a blazer i had. the ride is extremely comfortable. the outside noise level in very minimal. the sound system and air conditioning is very good. the seats are the most comfortable ive set in in years. even the ride in the back seating is very comfortable. the removal of the back seating is great, not as heavy as a gmc van i had. all in all a great van.
