This Year's Model Updates:

A midlevel Touring model is added to the Pacifica lineup, and the base model loses some of its standard equipment to accommodate a new lower price. Rear parking assist is now optional.

Pros:
  • Exceptional comfort for four, drives more like a sedan than a minivan, top-notch safety scores, upscale interior design.
Cons:
  • Average room for six, not as family-friendly as most minivans, spotty reliability on early models.

  • I hope it is just ours! - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

We picked up our 2005 FWD Touring Pacifica in July. The car has less than 4k miles on the clock, and it has been in the shop more than 8 times! This thing just has one problem after another! Chrysler is luckey we leased this Pacifica, otherwise, they would have by now, either givin us our money back, or replaced the car! Also, the Sound System is HORRIBLE!!! It is nothing like any oher DCX car i have rode in, and Is it just me, or is there a horrible blind spot on the car?

I really like my Pacifica, on short and long excursions. The vehicle offers something for everyone. My 4 children can watch their favorite Movies and we can listen to audio tapes or the radio at the same time. The navigation systems has saved me more than once from driving around for two hours. I appreciat the automatic rear door lift when carrying heavy items. I purchased my SUV a year ago and still I am impressed. Handles tight corners well, seat warmers are a must. This SUV truly rides smooth and comfortable regardless of age. Trunk is small, i miss the under the seat storage but love the curtain airbags for safety.

Purchased this vehicle as high mileage fleet, and have very few complaints. The interior is comfy, the storage capacity positively huge. Ive had one burnt out turn signal and a wiper replacement in the year Ive owned it so far and its handled, all the weather Indiana could throw at it.

This is the second year I have utilized a Pacifica as my primary car, having had the 2004 initial model also. Aside from required maintenance, only minor repairs have been required. The 2004 model needed a warranty covered computer chip replacement, and the 2005 had a recall to replace headlight wireing.

Overall I think that you cant beat what the Pacifica offers to a family being small or big. Saftey and comfortability is big in my book. The Pacifica offers this and then some with its SUV sporty look. And with a pinch of class, it offers self comfidence and worth.

  • Terrific Ride!!! - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

I love this car. It looks great and handles well in all types of weather. Ive driven on ice and snow, wet roads and black ice. It still handles like a dream. The car is easy to enter and exit, making it perfect for me to take my parents with me and still haul groceries and purchases. The steering wheel controls are so easy to use and keep my hands on the wheel. The front seats adjust to the most comfortable position easily. The back seats fold down to allow me to move bigger objects easily. What can I say - I love my car!!!

I have only had this car a couple of days and I love it already. It has a lot of features for a 2005. I had an Infinit 2005 a while back with a lot of options. This car is the only one we have found so far with all the bells and whistles for a reasonable price. It rides very smooth and noise reduction in car is outstanding. I recommend this car to Busy Moms who dont like the look of the minivan, but want the room. The car has all the space of a minivan, with the class to go along. It can be used for soccer practice, or night on the town!

The new 5 seater is great! You have all the comfort of a wagon/SUV, but with a sleek design. Drives excellent, plenty of cargo space, and looks cool!! I give this car an A+!!

  • Great crossover! - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

I found a used 05, AWD with all the extras & only 14,500 mi. I drove it 2,000 miles home with no problems. A great, comfortable ride. A bit underpowered for the weight but that makes it more stable, especially in bad weather. The room inside is great for our family and all our stuff. Leg room in the 2nd row is wonderful. All the extras like DVD, sunroof, etc. make it that much more fun to drive. I even managed just under 24 mpg on one stretch. Not as bad as I expected. Overall a great family vehicle that drives like a car with all the benefits of an SUV and mini-van. If you want an AWD vehicle that isnt a box, has some style and is comfortable and fun to drive, then this is for you.

  • Pacifica - A great SUV - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

My 2004 Pacifica replaces a long line of SUVs that I previously owned! Its design, interior comfort and overall performance are great. I drive between Arizona and Minnesota annually and now look forward to our next trip! I encourage anyone looking for performance and interior comfort to consider a Pacifica! rw
