Overview & Reviews
A midlevel Touring model is added to the Pacifica lineup, and the base model loses some of its standard equipment to accommodate a new lower price. Rear parking assist is now optional.
- Exceptional comfort for four, drives more like a sedan than a minivan, top-notch safety scores, upscale interior design.
- Average room for six, not as family-friendly as most minivans, spotty reliability on early models.

Year and a half, strong solid car - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By kevin_msu - April 22 - 5:14 amIve had my Pac for about a year and a 1/2 now and I can honestly say I really enjoy it. If you drive low mileage, this may not be the car for you. My mileage was great at 22 mpg when my commute was 20 miles each way, but now that its 4, Im down to 16 mpg. Aside from that, this car drives great. it turns so tight and smooth and its responsive to the wheel and the pedal, with enough juice to get you going if you need to accelerate. More than a few people have told me that my Pac is a joy to drive. The guy that fixed my tire for me was like "I was tempted to just keep driving. Thats a great car".

Neat Car! - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By KD Norman - April 21 - 2:20 pmI really love my Pacifica. It drives excellent, is extremely comfortable and has a lot of features like steering wheel radio controls, heated seats, DVD player and 6 bucket seats that make it an awesome car to own and drive. I just hope that Chrysler is a reliable make.

Great Buy! Is this really a Chrysler???? - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By Great Buy! - April 20 - 6:51 pmI was very reluctant to buy another American vehicle after two Fords. However, I ventured into getting the Pacifica after reading some reviews. I will never regret it. This car is absolutely luxury, how it rides, feels, and looks. No difference to a Mercedez or BMW. I had it for 6 months, and I am still in a honeymoon with it. Pure driving solid pleasure.

Great vehicle - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By Monique - April 19 - 7:53 amI love driving this car. I love the fact that every feature in this car helps you feel at comfort. The 10 point seat adjuster, power mirrors, radio stations, and pedals can be set, so that if there are more drivers your personal settings are not lost. I love the fact that the Pacifica has a unique look. It does not look like a van but has a lot of room inside. The Pacificas 6 cyl 240 horse power gives you a great pick up when needed, and the AWD helps all season with rain and snow. I also love the extra room for the kids and other family members when you needed. I feel safe driving the pasifica, with side airbags. I feel that this vehicle is the ultimate safety/traveling SUV this year.

Great car - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By McdinTexas - April 4 - 11:58 amI have had this car for almost 16,000 miles and two years and have not had one problem with it. The Pacifica is a very solid vehicle and well built. The ride is what got my attention. This baby is a road cruiser and handles like a much smaller sporty car. This car rides better than my Cadillac. It sits high which is nice for easy entry and exit and view of the road. Five star crash rating brings in that safety factor I was looking for. The car has hauled almost everything from furniture to sheets of plywood with out any problems, very handy. The fit and finish are what you could expect from Benz or BMW. Well done Chrysler. Also get 18 city and 25 highway MPG.

Love my Pacifica - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By Ltlredboomer - March 9 - 11:10 amI really love my Pacifica. Its easy to drive and performs very well. I get a lot of compliments on it, and "what kind of car is that?", and "Nice ride." I have carried many large loads with no problems. Very comfortable ride. You feel safe in it. Have never slipped in the Colorado snow.

A good all purpose vehicle - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica
By dspickard - March 7 - 4:36 amMine is an early model produced in Nov. 2003 currently with 17,400 miles. A good all purpose vehicle that has been very reliable with only two minor warranty items (brake light and right side mirror automatic adjustment) repaired. Very comfortable on long trips with reasonable highway gas milage of 22-24 while averaging 75+ mph. Handles well around town with somewhat disapointing accelleration and gas mileage of 16 -17mpg. Well appointed but some parts rather cheaply made.
