BMW has seen fit to give the sedans and wagons a facelift for 2002. An in-dash CD player finally makes it onto the standard features list. The center stack has been altered to accommodate the new automatic climate controls. Steptronic automanual operation has been altered so that you move the transmission lever forward for downshifts and backward for upshifts. Bi-xenon headlamps are on the options list so that both low and high beams can glow a cold blue and can be set to automatic operation. Rear side airbags are available for coupes and convertibles. Two new colors, Electric Red and Gray Green (and a Natural Brown interior leather) join the color spectrum.

By WarEmblem - March 4 - 10:00 amThis is my first BMW, and by comparison, no car compares! I am excited about starting off with this level of vehicle. The transmission and engine are golden. I also am learning how to drive a stick--yes, I am learning on my brand-new Bimmer. Nice smooth clutch.

My biggest complaint was the manual transmission...the clutch is far too light, and there is almost no feedback in the shifter, almost to the point of sloppiness (probably has to do with a cable shift linkage, which I never have liked the feel of)

seating space - 2002 BMW 3-Series
By seniorcitizen - February 13 - 2:00 amthe only thing I dont like about my BMW is the tight seating in the driver side.I`m a big man(275lbs)and find it difficult to slide in behind the wheel.Otherwise,once in place,there is no other great feeling like driving this vehicle.

THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION HAS AMPLE POWER IN ANY GEAR, AT ANY SPEED AND IS ALWAYS WILLING (URGING) TO ACCELERATE. NIMBLE IN TRAFFIC, INCREDIBLY RESPONSIVE AND EARNS LOTS OF STARES. CONTROLS ARE INTUITIVE, (SPORT) SEATS ARE COMFY, VISIBILTY EXCELLENT AND DID I MENTION ITS REALLY FUN/EASY TO DRIVE?

BMW 330Ci Review - 2002 BMW 3-Series
By ZAB - January 14 - 10:00 amBought the car throught the European Delivery program. Great handling, and interior controls. Only single drawback is the Harmon-Kardon stereo; it is just lacking. The low-mid range frequencies creep into the cabin speakers causing system to sound muddy when the overall bass is increased. A better low frequency crossover and/or an onboard sub volume/eq would help out a lot.

By guiseppe - January 14 - 10:00 amAfter months(3)of comparing cars (G35,AudiA4,Bmw 325i), I chose the BMW. While the G35 offers far more power, and handles great, I did not like its exterior design. I tried to like it because it made the most sense but...I couldnt. The A4 looks great, but, lets be honest, it looks too much like the Passat. It took 2 test drives to convince me that the best choice (for me) was the 325. One last thing, two words: Sports package!
