Overview & Reviews
The big news is the arrival of the A4 Cabriolet, a fetching drop-top version of the A4 sedan. Initially, the company will offer only one drivetrain choice -- front-wheel drive with the 3.0-liter V6 engine and continuously variable transmission. Expect to see a 1.8T version midway through the model year and a 3.0 quattro Cab by October 2003. No word yet on the possibility of a manual transmission. As if this weren't enough, Audi plans to release a coupe version of the A4 in early 2003. The rest of the A4 lineup benefits from equipment upgrades. Leather is now optional on all 1.8T models, as are 12-way power front seats. All 3.0s will come swathed in leather, with more deluxe leather optional. Previous stand-alone options for the 3.0, including xenons and satellite steering wheel controls, have been swept up into the Premium Package. A new cold weather package includes seat heaters and a ski sack, and 17-inch all-season tires are a stand-alone extra.
- Available all-wheel drive, classy interiors laden with amenities, stable handling.
- Price goes up quickly with options, engines a little short on low-end torque.

Audi 2002 A4 1.8T - 2003 Audi A4
By BlackA4Audi - October 14 - 10:00 amI love this car. I live up in ohio, where we have all the season to enjoy, and this is the perfect car for it. From blasting through the snow, to opening the sunroof, and flooring it on the freeway on a summer say, this car rocks!

Great Sporty Sedan ! - 2003 Audi A4
By Henryd - October 3 - 2:00 amStill waiting for my 03 A4 3.0L. Test drove CVT, Quattro and Cab models with both 1.8L and 3.0L engines. I think the CVT is a great concept but its not ready yet. There are some hesitations with transmission, sometimes made me feel being out of control with the car while stopping or trying to quickly accelerate. 1.8L engines are underpowered and need to be phased out. However, 3.0L w/Quattro is a totally different car as far as the feel of driving goes ! The engines sound alone makes me feel driving a powerful car. The acceleration is nice and the car sticks to the road no matter what. 3.0L engine is the only option with A4 as far as Im concerned.

Audi A4 Cabrio - Awesome! - 2003 Audi A4
By Audi_JBW - September 27 - 10:00 amJust got one of these babies and I cannot stop driving it. The beauty is stunning in moro blue with platinum leather. The handling and power are accurate and exciting. From someone who has always had a straight shift- this car is not a compromise. And the top- while one, you would never know this was a convertible. But with a 20 second press of a button, bamm! Youre out in the open. Surprisingly little cockpit wind even at highway speeds. If you are looking for a luxorious but not pretencious, sporty auto, look no further.

Solid performer with great intentions - 2003 Audi A4
By Andrew - September 10 - 1:15 amThe car is reliable, it breaks but rarely is it anything that you cant get home on. I grenaded the clutch 2 months after I got it (the clutch was shot when I bought it) and sawed through the transmission case, but she still got me home! It is a fast car, and there are many modifications out there!

Brand new thrill ride! - 2003 Audi A4
By Yannis Kolettis - September 2 - 10:00 amso far, so excellent! went with 2003 after after unable to find all options i wanted on remaining 2002... dolphin gray exterior is understated yet very elegant (much positive feedeback regarding this color)... steering wheel on 3.0 quattro now comes with radio control buttons... i happen to love the "sport" suspension, but if your goal is a "cushy" ride, dont get it... finding myself coming up with errands to run as an excuse to drive the car (!)

Love our 3.0 A4 Avant - 2003 Audi A4
By FOGRover - August 20 - 2:00 amThis is a great car. We love it, but hated the Pirelli P6 tires that came with it. They were allergic to gravel roads. The Bridgestone replacements are doing great.
