Nice Truck - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By FRANKY - December 26 - 2:30 amI drove both the 2005 Toyota Tacoma and the 2005 Nissan Frontier. If you want a midsize truck that drives like a car and performs like a full-size, then you want to buy the Nissan. It gives more options for your money and is well built.

Clutch Problem - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Margaret Calenda - December 15 - 3:50 amThe clutch "got burned out" according to the dealer here in Asheville, NC. No Regrets - Get One! - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By AF - December 13 - 12:43 pmIf you are in the market for a midsize truck, the Nismo Frontier should be your only consideration. It is FUN to drive and it looks great. The Tacoma pales in comparison to my Nismo. It has good low-end torque to get you off the line, the bedliner and bed extender provide plenty of utility, and the interior is surprisingly comfortable. I upgraded to the audio package and the stereo system sounds exceptionally well. I have no regrets in buying this truck and neither will you. Ive yet to meet someone that doesnt like my truck.

Its nice - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By lyverrm - December 10 - 7:13 pmI just purchased this truck and love every bit of it. I have driven a Nissan Frontier since Nov. of 1999. That truck was, and still is extremely reliable so I thought I would give the new one a chance. I love it! I gave my brother, who just turned 16, the 1999 model Nissan. I have never even had the slightest problem with the old frontier. It has 95000 miles on it and have only replaced the battery once, and have never even replaced the main belt. I expect the same out of this truck. I really enjoy the upgrade from the 4cyl to the 6cyl. This thing will get up and go. I think I made a good decision for a first car purchase.

New Frontier...1 year later - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Bob - December 6 - 10:16 pmOverall I am very happy w/this truck. I love the high seating position and powerful engine. The mileage is disappointing for a 6 cylinder, about 14.5 mpg around town, 17-18 on the highway. The turning radius is also too big, bigger than my Chevy Tahoe. The drivers window control switches need to be replaced (under warranty) and a new circuit had to be added to the towing package (at no cost). I feel confident driving this truck in all weather conditions.

Works 4 Me - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Osiris - November 25 - 2:50 pmI really like this truck. It has all of the utility of an SUV and just enough accessories to be an effective work truck, plus its a NISSAN. This thing will run forever. Lets put it this way, I traded a 2001 Trans Am for a Frontier and I loved that Trans Am. Only detractor is the interior color. Its a light tan and all of the dirt show up. My two year old has made sure of that.

2005 Nissan Frontier LE 4X4 - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By Wld Bill - November 15 - 7:33 pmThis is the second Nissan truck that I have owned. I think that Nissan has out done it self this time. I am really impressed with the engineering and craftsmanship that has been put into this truck!

Yes Sir! - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By phillip - November 6 - 4:10 amHey, let me tell ya gals and boys, this is one tight ride. Im shocked how smooth of a ride this truck is. When I take my fiancee to the mall to get a bigger size pants and shirt, Im sitting up high with a slurpee and a cool tune on the sterling CD player. Great job Nissan 2 thumbs up! I will try this truck offroad and give her a thorough test, but Im not scared

2005 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab RWD SE MT - 2005 Nissan Frontier
By BigTaka - November 2 - 10:56 pmI bought my used truck 4 years ago for work with 15K miles already on it. I have put 60K additional miles on and have had no mechanical issues. I do get a chirping sound from the air vents after I turn the ignition off and the dealership cant figure out the issue. Ive only changed the belts, done regular maintenance and am due to have the breaks changed for the first time. The gas mileage is less than desirable as I average 18-19mpg whether I am in the city or driving long distances on the highway. The rear seat is not the most comfortable as it sits straight up and does not offer much leg room. The power is decent and it has functioned fine when towing.
