Overview & Reviews
The Hyundai Santa Fe has been redesigned for the 2007 model year. Compared to last year's model, the new Santa Fe is larger, safer, more powerful and more luxurious.
- Upscale interior with high-quality materials, competitive price, long warranty, many standard safety features, optional third-row seat.
- Overly firm ride on SE and Limited trims, automatic transmission sometimes slow to respond, unimpressive brakes.

Great Ride - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Kathleen Mullikin - December 11 - 4:50 amMy husband drove a 2004 Santa Fe and I drove a 2003 Santa Fe. We have enjoyed the comfort and dependability of both our vehicles. I just got my new 2007 Santa Fe as a birthday gift -- WOW! It truly is a luxury ride. Several people have asked my what type car it is at the gas station. I would put it up against any of those higher priced luxury rides any day.

Best Hyundai Ever - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By dutch047 - October 24 - 2:00 pmSo far so good! I love the comfort of the vehicle and cant beat the interior designed. But with standard stafty features this is one of the safest suv to buy, espeacially with a family.

Fix the brakes - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By On the right track - October 23 - 1:43 pmHyundai has continued to build more stylish vehicles, improve quality, and keep prices reasonable. This suv compares in options to the more expensive Lexus and Acura, but at a more reasonable price. Of course, its not equal in quality , materials, and status as the forementioned. Safety is the main concern for me. This suv is filled with safety devices from the air bags to the drivetrain. Im waitng for the side impact crash results. The one area of concern is the very long stopping distance. Im cinfident Hyundai will correct this problem.

My New Santa Fe - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Santa Fe SE - October 17 - 6:40 amAT first the look of the vehicle caught my eye . Then driving is very tight which I like. There is little to no leanning when taking turns, switchig lanes,(in city or highway)or cornering. The transmission is smooth and accurate. You can also have fun with the sport shift. 242 horse engine is quiet and snappy along with a quiet cabin. interior I found to be impressive wit plenty of room. Also it doesnt have the old boxxy SUV look.

Overall, SF is well built and fun to drive - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By jamit - September 29 - 7:13 pmI am from Canada. Even though I have my Santa Fe 3.3 GL Premium (7 pass) just over a week, I am enjoying very moment of it. It is well built, and fun to drive. The ride is a bit firm, and you can feel the bump (when offroad). Compared to other SUV/CUVs that I test drove, this SF strikes me hard on its comfort, quality, and quietness. Oh, it is a very quiet car. The 3rd row seats are great for kids, but I dont use it alot.

2007 Santa Fe - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Tgrfan - September 23 - 4:10 amOverall, I absolutely love the Santa Fe. I bought one in the Powder White Pearl color, which I think is very sharp. Love the handling, the pick-up, and its very comfortable to drive. Tons of room in the back. The only problem I have is with the outside temperature guage. Due to its location, the only accurate reading is when the vehicle is stationary. Once moving, the reading either drops by 10+ degrees, or just goes blank.

Pleasantly Surprised - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Bill S - September 20 - 9:36 pmI bought this car based on a "promise". And now I can tell you that I am very happy I went in this direction. Wow! Drive it and you will buy it. Solid, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of "get up and go", nicely appointed interior and plenty of storage. Handling in the snow is fantistic. I had considered the CR-V and the RAV4 and after driving each one, before buying the Santa Fe, there is just no question of which is best. I was hoping for a little bit better gas mileage. After about 3000 miles I am getting 21.1 MPG. Not the worst!

Poor mans Lexus or smart mans Lexus? - 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe
By Hunter - September 14 - 12:46 amThis new 07 Santa Fe will never be confused with previous years Santa Fes. With its upscale styling and car like ride this cross over vehicle offers many standard features you wouldnt expect in a Hyundai. My neighbor asked if I just bought a Lexus when I pulled my new Santa Fe into my driveway. He was shocked when I told him it was a Hyundai. The milage figres listed are 19 city & 24 highway. To date, my milage has been less. The owners manual suggested after 1200 miles the motor will be broken in so to speak. Im hoping for better gas milage down the road. I would suggest anyone looking for a mid sized SUV to seriously consider th 07 Santa Fe.
