16 and Going Strong - 1994 Acura Vigor
By Rob - August 31 - 4:36 pmThis is the best car I have owned new or used and I have owned ten other cars including a Mercedes. Bought the car new. Great road car that is very agile when you need to pass. Can drive it in very heavy snow and not get stuck. No major problems with the engine or drive train. Replaced timing chain at 65K and again at 125K miles as prevention maintenance. The muffler system lasted for 15 years. Tune-ups every 30K miles, oil changes, brakes about every 50K miles and tires pretty much sum up the cost to drive it for 16 years plus. Honda should think about putting the 2.5 five cylinder in their new TSX instead of the six.

Everything broke - 1994 Acura Vigor
By icon27 - May 18 - 7:10 pmWe have owned this car for 7 years and I have had to replace almost every major part except the motor. Trany 128,000 miles, starter, alternator, axles, 02 sensors, seats are torn etc. This is the worst car that I have ever owned. if Acura is one of the best car lines in the world I would hate to see the worst. would never buy an Acura because this was such a lemon.

Never owned a better car!!! - 1994 Acura Vigor
By shapoopie811 - May 30 - 1:44 amI absolutely love this car!!! I bought it from my brother who beat the tar out of it and she still runs and moves like a champ after 15 years and 365,000 miles. Back seat is a tad small for the car seat, and cup holder would be a plus... But all things considered, I plan on dropping a new engine sometime within the next year just for the sheer joy of driving it.

None better for the price - 1994 Acura Vigor
By Mark Louis - January 31 - 11:04 amA great achievement in engineering. At the time of release, the Vigor just didnt attract a big enough audience to keep up the pace with the lexus 300 series (which wasnt built as well as the Vigor at the time). This car has the total package for the mula, and still outperforms many modern sedans. Ive driven many cars, and this design is very impressive. They are quickly turning into classic collecter items all over. Classic lines, fun to drive, and reliable even over 200k. Test drive a Vigor if you ever spot one for sale. If it doesnt impress you, then it hasnt been maintained well. I will have this car until they dont make parts for it anymore!

Top Class quality for medium price. - 1994 Acura Vigor
By Mazhar Syed - April 20 - 5:30 pmAcura Vigor, the name might sound too strong, but pull back the seat, put the trans in D4 and raise the gas slowly, you will feel the difference which you cant experience in a new mitsubishi eclipse(e.g). Honda has done a great job on this car, I tested it and it ran 0-60 in 8secs where consumer guide said 8.8secs(idiots). Anyways, this is a car that you will enjoy in every aspect, with 8 channel surround sound(4tweeters and 4speakers) if u can spend u can set-up 8 speakers along with a sub and make the worlds best sound system or upgrade 2-way speakers in the front and 3-way speakers in the back panel with a 10inch sub in the trunk as I did and ENJOY! For $4000, i bought a BMW M3 kicker lol

The Acura Vigor a perfect car - 1994 Acura Vigor
By Crazyhorse - March 24 - 2:42 pmThis Vigor is the best car I have ever owned. I plan on spending $3000 and getting the little bit of rust and one rear door replaced. The body does not need to be repainted. I have had to do minor repairs. The mechanics who work on this car always rave about the Acuras. I work for an American car manufacturer and wonder why they continue to purchase the very cheapest componenets on the market. The Japanese auto industry puts together a well designed vehicle with great components thus insuring years of reliability. Cars and trucks are a liability. I plan on purchasing used Japanese vehicles from here on out. Or, until the American car Cos wake up from their delusion.

Acura Vigor, sporty sedan - 1994 Acura Vigor
By RezzasVTEC - February 6 - 2:00 amI bought my Vigor because it was an Acura (Ive dealt with 4 honda/acuras in the past, and know that they are very reliable), it was a stylish design, and it was lady-owned with many reciepts. The g25a inline 5 cylinder is great! Its a little more of a high reving car (peak HP is at 6500 rpms), but the engine is soooo smooth. I added a RActive filter and I can feel more bottom end torque, better top speed, and the best part, a mean, deep throttle growl. DONT DOUBT THE I5, GET A VIGOR, IT WONT DO YOU WRONG!

Excellent car - 1994 Acura Vigor
By xxxfirefighter - July 13 - 2:00 amThis car is awesome! I had to find a vehicle to drive back and forth to work, my Xterra gets terrible gas milage! The only improvement I would suggest is cup holders. This car has none.
