Overview & Reviews
Last year's 2.4T model is now the 2.5T, with the same 208-horsepower engine as the AWD model. Bi-xenon headlights are a new option, while the sport package for the 2.5T includes speed-sensitive power steering.
- Superb comfort, wide variety of safety and luxury features, balanced ride and handling characteristics, available all-wheel drive.
- Handling lacks true sport sedan precision, expensive optional equipment, turbo lag and torque steer in the T5 model.

volvo fan for life - 2004 Volvo S60
By bpmba - February 4 - 10:00 ami traded in a 98 s70 glt turbo for this s60 ... and i love it! i custom ordered it with premium & sport packages, dstc and bi-xenon headlights, so i had to wait a few months for its arrival. this car is **much** smaller than my s70 and that parts taken a little getting used to. but overall, im very pleased with its handling, performance and styling.

Is there a better sport sedan? - 2004 Volvo S60
By jon heberling - February 3 - 12:13 pmWith IPD ECU and exhaust 335 hp. The Brembo brakes should be on all volvos, they would be a great selling point. Where can one find more comfortable seats? Performance is outrageous. The grip in snow and ice is quite assuring. Not being a racing driver I cannot address subtelties in steering, but I doubt that a BMW M3 or a $50,000 Mercedes could compare to this one. An Audi S4 weighs 300# more, so could not handle as well. A truly wonderful car this Volvo. The atacama leather too is unmatched by the competition.

Five reasons to get a Volvo S60 2.5T fwd - 2004 Volvo S60
By vooman - January 17 - 10:00 am1) The leather seats that come with the sport package are incredible. 2) The power of the car is right sized for the specific front wheel drive version. 3) The S60 receives a one rating in the five star ratin system with five being the worst, meaning that the Volvo S60 has the highest rating for maintaining the value of the car 4) Sleek and sporty looking but still a four dour sedan that makes the car very versatile 5) An incredible 8 speaker sound system and radio, even at the stock level. Volvo works very closely with Dolby Labs, Bose, Harman Industries, Nokia, Dynaudio, Alpine Electronics, and Mitsubishi Electronics.

Awesome Car - 2004 Volvo S60
By AvRick - December 23 - 10:00 amJust took delivery two days ago and I absolutely love this sedan. The fit and finish is next to perfect and it handles great. Its the quietest car Ive ever driven and although it only has the 2.4, it is quick and nimble enough for this 50 year-old.

My new R - 2004 Volvo S60
By Ramib1 - December 23 - 10:00 amThis is by far the best car Ive ever driven - or own. I almost bought a G35, until I took the R for a test drive. I bought it on the spot. Its not only the amazing performance, but the complete package, including comfort, design, quality, and of course, safety. For a price of a BMW 330 you get a bigger, faster, better looking car, with performance only a tad below an M.

850,S70,S60 whats next? - 2004 Volvo S60
By tmorgan4 - November 22 - 2:16 pmIve had the 850, S70 and now the S60 and this is probably the best car ive ever driven. Great on gas mileage, probably the most seductive sedan on the market and fun to drive. Pound for pound this might be the best european sedan on the market! I love everything about it, I cant even imagine what the next generation s60 will be like.

Great performance, low mileage - 2004 Volvo S60
By bnziskin - November 4 - 2:00 amI love to drive this car. I went from a Honda S2000 to the Volvo and feel I have lost nothing in performance. The fun level has obviously decreased, but with a new baby daughter, the Honda was impractical.

Perfect car and beats every 325i match - 2004 Volvo S60
By Expat-happy-with-T5 - October 29 - 2:00 amI ordered my Volvo in the summer of 2002 as an Expat living in London, England and had it delivered to my home in Seattle. It is a great car and the service I received direct from the factory was out standing. I wish I could say the same about the dealership in Seattle. I recommend this car to every one I meet. I am currently working in Japan and miss my T5.

First time volvo owner - 2004 Volvo S60
By popec - September 28 - 10:00 amVery impressed with the smoothness of the ride. Has great pick up and really moves when you step on the gas. Turbo lag is something that I had to get used to, but does not affect the driving experience.
