Overview & Reviews
The 2007 Toyota Tundra is completely redesigned. Larger and stronger than before, Toyota's full-size truck offers three cab sizes, three bed lengths and three engine choices, including an all-new 381-horsepower 5.7-liter V8.
- Wide range of cab and bed configurations, powerful 5.7-liter V8, high tow ratings, spacious passenger quarters, numerous safety and convenience features.
- Lots of hard plastic and a few ergonomic flaws in the cabin.

Greatest Truck on Earth - 2007 Toyota Tundra
By amalgamX - January 23 - 4:03 pmSolid. Powerful. Beautiful to behold. 5.7L V8 gas-miser powerhouse. Attention paid to every detail. Can operate all interior controls with heavy work gloves on. Man-size cupholders: man-sized everything. This is the one weve waited for. Clearly superior to the F-150, Ram, Silverado, Titan - you name it. Less expensive too.

2007 Tundra DC TRD - 2007 Toyota Tundra
By cadman - October 29 - 8:43 amI have had the truck for 3 weeks now. It is my first Toyota, Im migrating from a Nissan Titan. The power is similar to my Titan but the interior cab noise is way less. I just installed the TRD dual exhaust and it is still quieter in the cab than the Nissan was. The interior finish is nice and the truck is very nice looking from exterior. I see a lot of people pointing at truck as I drive by.

A Great Work Truck - 2007 Toyota Tundra
By way2fun_lotus - September 18 - 10:26 amAfter reading some of these reviews, I have to wonder if there arent some Toyota haters posting misinformation. I have a 2007 with 47,000 miles on that I have worked the you know what out of, and I have never had a single issue with it. No stuck accelerator, no rust, no tailgate problems, no radio problems, no vibrating bed, etc. The truck has been bullet proof just like you would expect a truck to be. My only issue with it is its large size. Its a lot to maneuver, and I sometimes wish it was smaller. On the flip side, I cant tell you how many times Ive had the bed stacked full of stuff and was grateful for the size of it.

No Doubt! - 2007 Toyota Tundra
By CAMODO - September 3 - 3:10 pmI have owned 2 Fords, 4 Chevys and a Toyota and this is the best truck I have owned to date. It is stupid fast and shifts smooth as butter. Mileage is about 15 in the city. My only compaint would be it is a little hard to get into and rides a little on the stiff side for a 1/2 ton. Brakes, comfort, tranny, motor and initial quality is near perfect!

Muscle Truck - 2007 Toyota Tundra
By Tom - August 30 - 9:56 pmI two a 10,000 lb trailer on a regular basis. My previous truck was a Ford with a 460 V8. The Tundra 5.7 bets it hands down in power and economy. I have never owned a p/u in my 35 years of driving that is as powerful as this one. It is amazing. I regularly get 20 mpg driving 55 mpg empty highway miles. Around town is 14 mpg and pulling a loaded trailer at 55 mpg gets me 14 mpg. I use regular gas and everything factory.

Love this truck. - 2007 Toyota Tundra
By michaeldejesus - August 20 - 3:10 amWeve been researching and thinking about buying a truck for quite a while now and we finally made the purchase. Electronic stability control, side-curtain airbags, 6 speed transmission, 381 HP, etc. Nobody can touch this truck. Toyota has definitely raised the bar.

Best truck in Class by far! - 2007 Toyota Tundra
By Ryan - August 17 - 6:33 pmThis truck can do it all. Haul 2,000 lbs all day long with plenty of acceleration left. Tows great. The best gas mileage for the big V-8s. Very comfortable for the road trips. And what other truck can you also get Bluetooth and a nav system in it? The back-up camera is a must for those who tow. Well designed truck with the option for the deck rail system making the task of securing the load very easy. Tons of storage between underseat compartment, two glove compartments and the center console that is large enough to hold hanging files and a laptop! Nine cupholders!

Very Nice Truck - 2007 Toyota Tundra
By Bill Peters - August 13 - 5:53 pmThis truck has been the nicest vehicle I have ever owned. I puchased the Speedway Blue Tundra 4.7L V8 2WD with the TRD Offroad package. The mileage seems to be very close to what Toyota claims. It does well for being such a large truck. I have enough ground clearance to feel comfortable driving in any conditions and a nice enough interior for those long road trips. Everything inside the vehicle is where it should be and there is more than enough room to fit 5 people like an SUV.

Best Yet - 2007 Toyota Tundra
By QUINN - August 9 - 11:33 pmI have been in many trucks. And lived with only Chevy in the garage. Yet here comes a redesigned, powerful, and fun to drive contender that after driving the others has landed the space in my garage next to my IROC Z. Great style in the interion and a "beefy" upgrade to the exterior really helped to make the final choice. Dodge, Ford and Chevy all really had all the power I would need, but, the interior room and design are superior in the Toyota.
