This Year's Model Updates:

The 2007 Toyota Tundra is completely redesigned. Larger and stronger than before, Toyota's full-size truck offers three cab sizes, three bed lengths and three engine choices, including an all-new 381-horsepower 5.7-liter V8.

Pros:
  • Wide range of cab and bed configurations, powerful 5.7-liter V8, high tow ratings, spacious passenger quarters, numerous safety and convenience features.
Cons:
  • Lots of hard plastic and a few ergonomic flaws in the cabin.

We really love our truck have had to have the radio replaced still the channels will fade in and out at times.have lost the rubber strip on the top right side in car wash , but as far as the performance of the truck could not be happier my husband get mad because I do not want him to drive it .

This truck replaced a F150 Lariat 5.4L 4x4, and there is no comparison. The Tundra has power to spare whether towing or just driving. It rides well, but not as smooth as the F150. Plenty of room inside for passengers, thermos bottles, and glove compartment type objects, but there is no place to store jumper cables or even basic tools. Little to no road noise and features are luxury. The traction control system is awesome for highway driving in 2WD on slick or wet roads. Mileage is better than expected: over 19 on the highway, 13 while towing, and 14.5 in the city.

My new CrewMax Limited rocks! The ride is smooth, the power is great and all Ive heard is positive comments from all of my friends on the appearance!! My previous truck was a 93 Toyota King Cab V6, which I just sold last night, with 210,000 miles and it still ran like a charm. I also own an 01 Toyota Sienna and have had nothing but luck with it. Toyota consistently builds a wonderful product and if price is your concern, you make up for that in quality, reliability and resale value. Thanks Toyota, you did it again!

This is my second Tundra and it is by far the best truck on the planet! Great job Toyota!

  • Nice Truck! - 2007 Toyota Tundra

I traded in my 06 Tacoma Prerunner Double Cab Long Bed TRD Sport for an SR5 Crewmax Short bed with 5.7 6 AT. The Crewmax takes regular gas at 87 octane compared to the 92 octane that the Tacoma required. The Tundra accelerates with ease, and the ride is very smooth. I love the rear seat space. It is huge back there, and my family can relax during long drives from Vegas to Orange County. So far, the Tundra is a winner. I just hope that my 5.7 is not one of those with a defective camshaft that grounded about 20 5.7s so far.

  • Got one of the first ones - 2007 Toyota Tundra

I was leery about buying a first year production truck because usually all of the design bugs arent worked out yet. I have had this unit for more than 2 months now and I have not found a single thing lacking. What a truck! Okay, I havent put it to enough driving to get my final opinion, but I would stack this truck up with anything else in its class.

  • First Truck Owned - Love It - 2007 Toyota Tundra

A day after I bought my Tundra, I loaded up the family for a 800 mile road trip. The truck handled beautifully and made the miles appear to go quicker than actual.

  • very Good - 2007 Toyota Tundra

Very good handling, nice ride on rough road and in cornering.

More power than I know what to do with! Problem is with all that power the gas mileage is terrible. The fit and finish is near perfect for a pick-up. The interior is maybe a little too good to take to a job site.

  • Sweet ride - 2007 Toyota Tundra

This is one great truck, the ride is super, styling is nice, large knobs and handles. There is quite a bit of room in the back. I like the way the doors open. Reliability, come on, its a Toyota!!
