  • Pleasantly Surprised - 2007 Toyota Tundra
    By -

My wife and I had been shopping for a truck for quite some time. We do a lot of weekend projects renovating houses and needed a vehicle that could support our growing family on trips to home depot and family vacations. My mind was set on the Chevrolet Silverado but my wife had looked at the Tundra and insisted that I take it for a test drive. Being a good husband I promptly did so, and was blown away. The amount of space in the truck is amazing. Others have talked about bed bounce but I have yet to encounter it and I have taken several long road trips in the truck. My only problem so far is when I first purchased the truck I had a defect in one of the tires. Dealer service was horrible.

  • Whatta TRUCK! - 2007 Toyota Tundra

This is my third Tundra and this new one is at least twice the truck as the old model. Run, dont walk down and buy one. Spacious elegant interior. Easy to use controls and all the power you could ever want.

  • Best truck Ive ever driven!! - 2007 Toyota Tundra
    By -

When I first got behind the wheel, the truck seemed enormous. Almost too big if you can believe that. But after a few miles of driving, I quickly fell in love with everything in the truck. It has everything and more a driver could want. You can haul groceries, building supplies, kids, kids friends, tow the boat, camper etc. and on and on and on. There is almost no limit with this truck. It also handles and rides really really good.

  • Muscle Truck - 2007 Toyota Tundra

This thing is like driving a jacked up sports car! It is a little strange to be in a vehicle this big that has so much power. Overall I am very impressed with all levels of this truck. The fit and finish is top notch, the doors shut with a tight seal, the bucket seats are great and it tows my 20 boat like it isnt even there. I traded my z71 suburban for the Tundra Doublecab. It has as much room in the back seat as my Burb had in the second row. Mine has the XSP package which includes the 20" BBS wheels, fender flares, leather, step bars, skid plate, etc. I think this must be a package that is only available from S.E. Toyota as I dont see it listed on here. Buy one!

  • Happy With Crew Max - 2007 Toyota Tundra
    By -

I am extremely happy with our Crew Max. Our truck appears to be very "tight", with excellent build quality. The only problem noted in my opinion is the engine idle speed at initial start. The engine seems to rev up high @ 1600 rpm. The 5.7 liter engine appears to be well designed & can do what Toyota claims it can in terms of towing. The interior Crew Max leg room is outstanding. We have two kids who can basically stretch out & sleep in the back in comfort on long trips. I have owned a couple of Toyota trucks in the past. I can truthfully say without hesitation that Toyota has done another excellent job. I truly hope this initial model doesnt have any "bugs" or flaws to iron out.

  • This truck is sick - 2007 Toyota Tundra

This is an awesome truck. I have the standard suspension and the ride is like a luxury car. The power this truck has is just incredible and it shifts very smooth. Toyota did a great job on the interior design, big nobs for climate control, and several storage compartments. The bed is a few inches deeper than most trucks and the spring loaded hinges on the tail gate are really cool. Ive had this truck for a week and I cant find a thing wrong with its design. The mpg is a little bit lower than stated. My computer is telling me Im getting 12 mpg in town and 15 mpg on the fwy. Dont really mind spending a little more on gas to have all this power. Overall a great ride and fun to drive.

  • Great Truck - 2007 Toyota Tundra
    By -

The 4 dr instead of access cab is such an improvement that along with the extended cab and 66" bed I feel that I truly have the best of both worlds. While its the small V8, I have never felt underpowered and actually have to watch it from over accelerating and burning rubber. Along with the looks, driving is a great rush. I would advise anyone to take a hard look at the Tundra DC 4.7,4WD, its not too shabby. Cant believe how nice this truck is, even my wife loves it.

  • Ive got the Pooooower baby! - 2007 Toyota Tundra
    By -

Wow! This truck is impressive. Had a Silverado before. This truck is as smooth ride wise but that is where the comparisons end. This truck is like a giant sports car! (smile) I agree with a comment made in another review. This truck is indeed pure fun. As far as gas mileage. Hey its a truck! If you are worried about gas mileage get yourself a little jetta. Ill stick with my Tundra thank you :) One word to describe this truck: Power. This truck is what other 1/2 ton trucks want to be when they grow up lol If youre thinking about getting one, go for it.

  • Best Truck Ever - 2007 CrewMax SR5 - 2007 Toyota Tundra
    By -

I have owned many trucks in my life. Fords were my truck of choice up until my 2004 Tundra. I just traded that in for a 2007 Tundra 5.7 Crewmax. Ive put about 6k miles on this thing and it is by far and away the best truck Ive experienced. Toyota thinks of everything down to the nth degree!

  • My wife loves it! - 2007 Toyota Tundra
    By -

I have the Timbermica green with the tan interior. 5.7 4x4 TRD. Two words: love it! The wife fell in love with it as soon as she drove it. It handles great, and for a truck with an off road package I dont think the ride is that bad. Fit and finish is great, and there is plenty of room on the inside for traveling or loading up the family for a Sunday outing. The 5.7 is quite and powerful. I would buy it again in a heart beat.
