  • Bad to the Bone - 2007 Toyota Tundra

I researched trucks for nearly eight months and then decided to wait on the new Tundra. I have owned a Toyota 4x4 (1992) for fifteen years with no problems and expect the same with the 2007 Tundra. It drives like a dream. The TRD suspension gives the truck a great feel on and off road. All the power you will ever need. Dont listen to all the little complaints about the interior. The stereo and AC controls are in the right place. There is not one thing that I would change about this monster. The Ash interior looks great with the black. Go with the TRD package in order to get the fog lights, all-terrain wheels, skid plates, and wheels. The stereo is as good as anything Ive heard.

Ive owned many trucks over the years, but I have never been as happy as I am with my Tundra. When I haul my fifth-wheel, I occasionally check my mirrors to make sure its still attached because the truck doesnt even feel like its working any harder than usual. Im totally pleased.

I did a lot of research before buying, looked at all the players in the full size truck market and decided on the Tundra. The others couldnt touch the styling and reliability of Toyota. Getting 15 mpg so far but only on the second tank of gas. This truck drives and handles great, excellent comfort and no road noise. I love this truck!!

Owned 5 Chevys and 7 Fords. In 2001 I purchased a Chevy Silverado Ext Cab 4wd. Chevy has a decent ride. That is it. In 7 years I have stuck $10,000 over and above the normal maintenance. Their cust. Service is terrible. My wife describes my Tundras ride as a limousine. Of course it isnt but for a Heavy Duty truck is is a nice ride. I cant wait to install Bridgestone Duelers on it. I have a 3" lift kit on the front and 1" on rear to level it out. Looks great!I highly recommend this truck. Plenty of performance and great braking. My fathers averages 2.5 mpg less; however, he drives aggressively ALL the time. I get 15-17 mpg. Get TRD. Not enough space to properly review this fine truck.

I have had my Tundra for over a month now and it has been a phenomenal vehicle. I moved from a car to a truck, so the fuel economy is definitely not as good, but for its size and power I am very impressed. Some say the interior is not as polished as other makes, I do agree, but boy it is easy to clean, and the material used feels very durable, exaclty what is needed in a work truck. I actually love the material use and design layout, except for a few hard to reach buttons on the right side of the center console, they are pretty far from the drivers seat.

  • Just bought 07 Tundra CM 5.7 Limited - 2007 Toyota Tundra

Drove my Chevy 1500 for 10 years and I just replaced it with a new Tundra Crew Max Limited w/ 5.7 w/ Navigation and rear DVD. Wow! Went to the dealerships looking to purchase a F-150 Lariat or the Silverado LTZ, and just test drove the Tundra for the fun of it. Wow, what a difference. Felt a bit of guilt for not buying chevy again, but man the power behind the 5.7 makes me grin when I accelerate, and on the freeway the 6spd is smooth and very quiet. Spoiled myelf w/ some extras: navigation w/ bluetooth phone is the deal, sliding rear window nice feature, back up camera for hitching the boat... luxury... like driving a 4x4 lexus w/a bed? Also, the rear seats recline unlike all other trucks!

  • Power, Looks, and Comfort - 2007 Toyota Tundra

I have had this truck for almost 3 months and 2,500 miles with no problems at all. The power and 6 speed transmission are perfect together. You really have to be careful on the highway because it is so quiet and smooth that when youre going 75-80, it feels like 55-60 (1,800 rpm at 70 mph) . The double cab has plenty of room for 2 car seats and the center console is big enough for a cooler. My gas mileage has been about 14-15 in mixed driving and around 18 on the highway. With the power you have, that isnt bad. I used to have a Dakota regular cab with the 4.7 and I get better gas mileage in the Tundra and have almost 150 more horsepower.

  • Toyotas best truck ever - 2007 Toyota Tundra

I have already towed on a 16 hour trip and it was like I was driving without a trailer.

  • 07 Tundra - Was Worth The Wait - 2007 Toyota Tundra

The 2007 Tundra 5.7L V8 Limited is by far the best truck I have ever owned, and I have owned my fair share. The 5.7L delivers in every way, great pick up and acceleration, quiet and comfortable for the family. The dual exhaust adds a little something for me. I love this truck and I look forward to driving it everyday. Thank you Toyota, Ive waited 3 years for this truck - you got a real winner here.

  • No Other Truck Compares - 2007 Toyota Tundra
    By -

Bought 2007 Tundra new for significantly less than I could have bought a comparable Hemi Double Cab. I currently have 181,000 miles on it and the only fix was the water pump which Toyota covered on warrantee at 96K miles. I have towed an 8K camper from VT to SC twice and although the mileage was terrible (8MPH) no issues to date. I have replaced the brake pads twice and rotors once. All other people I know that own ford, chevy or dodge have replaced wheel bearings, tierod ends, and brakes every 25k miles. This truck is the real deal no matter what anyone says.
