This Year's Model Updates:

The 2007 Toyota Sienna benefits from a major power upgrade, as a new 266-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 replaces last year's 3.3-liter engine. This makes the Sienna the most powerful minivan on the market. In other news, all '07 Siennas with CD changers are satellite radio-ready (Sirius), and the standard tire-pressure monitoring system now has sensors for each tire (resulting in more accurate readings). The available 17-inch alloy wheels have a new finish.

Pros:
  • Powerful and refined V6, smooth ride, packed with convenience features, choice of seven- or eight-passenger seating, available all-wheel drive, tight build quality.
Cons:
  • Expensive option packages, uninspired handling, noise isolation could be better.

  • Like the van... kind of - 2007 Toyota Sienna

Nearing one year with 2007 Sienna, 18k miles. Great room for kids and all that comes with them. Drives nice, with lots of power. Handling not so great, breaking a bit scary at times due to the soft break pedal. Interior quality is not so Toyota-like; needs refinement with attention to materials and finish. A/C needs more power to the back seats. I would like to say the gas mileage is better then I thought. Were getting around 22-23 MPG combined and the added power is nice to have during traffic in/outs.

  • Just a few problems - 2007 Toyota Sienna

Overall, Ive enjoyed my minivan. However...(1) both sliding doors rattle. Took it in several times, they greased it and it was ok for a short time and then back to the rattle. No one can find the problem; (2)drivers side sliding door sometimes gets stuck (cant close it from inside) & (3) same door sometimes wont open from the inside either; Now, (4) the calipers are shot. I dont brake quickly either! This van is 2 years old & falling apart on me!

We just traded our 2005 Honda Odyssey Touring (37,000 miles) for a 2007 XLE Sienna. The Sienna has a wonderful drive: lovely steering, fantastic on Manhattans awful street surfaces, oozes quality, is built well, is fast and has great brakes.

  • Toyota Sienna: Best Van 4 the $$$ - 2007 Toyota Sienna

The resale, fit and finish, stability, reliability, transmission, engine, dash board views, and rubber/ plastic movement and sound surpass the other minivans. The Sienna is heavy duty family grade. We drove the Honda and it was really nice. But not as heavy duty as the Sienna. The Toyota is much studier and feels better on the road. We love this van and I swore Id never buy one!!

Superb interior finishing, excellent display and controls, very comfy.

  • As good as a van can get:) - 2007 Toyota Sienna

I test drove all brands and selected the Toyota over the Honda. Price and features were main reasons, even though the Honda drove a little better. I like the overall ride of Sienna better. I am very impressed with the gas mileage, 26 hwy and 23 in town. I replaced the tires at 45K, but otherwise have not put any money into this van. It had been great for our family!

  • I love my car! - 2007 Toyota Sienna

My husband bought this car for me to use with my grandchildren. One has Autism, but high functioning. He loves the car because he gets his own seat, movies on the dvd player, air conditioning in the rear and his personal setting. Very roomy car, drives really nice. Has tons of storage for those long trips, roof rack for the luggage, and has power like a V8. Middle seats are removable and can be moved to the side for easy entry to the 3rd seating area. I am in love with my car. Its baby blue with leather interior and I dont have space to tell you about all the features. But if you cart around your family, or like high quality cars. This is it!

  • Surprisingly disappointed - 2007 Toyota Sienna

I was told to choose: Sienna or Odyssey. My mistake. At this rate I probably wouldnt pick either! Were very disappointed with this car. Under the hood, yes its ok. Its the small stuff thats frustrating. It seems like there is always another minor issue. Of course some really are just minor (ie: the window trim comes off) but still annoying. We paid too much for these issues! The stuff that really bothers me is things like the very loud rattling on the right side sliding door. (taken in...no one can find anything wrong) I wouldnt recommend this car to anyone. There must be something decent out there other than the Sienna or Odyssey. Off to the auto show :-(

Great van, bad fuel economy - after 4000 miles average 14m/g, 50% city and 50% freeway driving.

  • Excellent Example of Toyota Quality - 2007 Toyota Sienna

The 2007 Sienna ride is improved greatly compared to the 2004 model we traded. The horsepower increase is noticeable. We frequently find ourselves loading six full sized adults in the Sienna only to have it function completely to our satisfaction. Our experience is an avg. 23 mpg under avg. driving habits. Fit and finish are what one would expect from Toyota. No appreciable road noise. No squeaks or other obnoxious sounds.
