Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Finally Decided on a Van - 2011 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Time to replace 6 year old Minivan for our family of 5. Dont care what other people perceive as Cool or Not so without question we were getting another Mvan. Comfort, convenience, Space and Efficiency all trump any stigma from others. Waited until the new Sienna, Odyssey and the Quest came out to decide and needing an 8 pax for that occasion when one of our kids brings three friends along, the Quest was out. Hours of websearch and extended Drives of each, we decided on the Sienna SE. We loved our Odyssey, but cant get past the new exterior so we got the Sienna. It looks/drives Sporty and loaded with options, Bluetooth, backup camera, moonroof etc; were very, very satisfied.

  • Comfort & Spacious - 2012 Toyota Sienna

I bought 2012 XLE FWD model last month. It is very spacious and more comfortable. I took test drive of equally loaded Highlander SE v6 FWD and compared it to Sienna. I felt the handling is better in Sienna. But, the pickup is good in Highlander. In terms of mpg, i guess Sienna gives 1 miles less than Highlander. My wife liked Odyssey. But, since we read bad reviews about its Wind noise and Transmission, we decided not to buy. That too equally loaded Odyssey ELX is expensive than Sienna XLE. But after buying Sienna, i realize that there is Wind noise & Road noise in this as well. But, it rides better and cheap with 2 year free maintenance.

  • Love AWD but make car slower - 2017 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We replace 2013 FWD XLE with 2017 XLE Premium AWD. Ride is much much improved . Quality of interior compare to other minivans on the market is outstanding. Only issue/downsize is performance. Not sure if this is because of AWD or new direct injection motor/new transmission but old car was much more punchy. This new one is simply lazy.. you have to step on really hard to get any performance from it

  • do they get any better, just a bit - 2004 Toyota Sienna

when i bought this van my big concern was cargo room behind third row seats, and this toy has that in spades. when i went to buy i took four vans out for a drive; the pontiac, the toyota, the dodge grand and the honda. on the twisty road that i chose to drive none could stack up to the toy. the dipstick tube however left a brown gritty deposit on the end of the dipstick, i had the toyota people replace the tube but the new tube left the same deposits. i was assured that this substance was not rust and was nothing to worry abought...i dont know. my other beef is that when i bought it the fitted rubber floor mats were not availible.

  • Beware of dealers - 2004 Toyota Sienna

The sienna drives nicely on even pavement. It can get bumpy/bouncy on regular roads. It has great sites to see cars in the usual blind spots. The carpet mats are chincy for such an expensive minivan. The air vents are either to cold or not cool enough-- maybe too close to the driver. The side opening doors are great and rear hatch. The sensors are great too. The engineer did a good job building the minivan. The dealerships need to get a grip and not be so arrogant and abusive to customers. Maybe headquarters should take over.

  • Best car I ever owned! - 2001 Toyota Sienna

Ive had this Sienna for 8 years and hate to trade it in. All it has needed is regular maintenance. It drives well in snow. We have often driven 6 adults many miles and everyone is happy, even in the third row. Great car.

  • Great van - great price - great value! - 2006 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Test drove a few vans, the Sienna was not only the cheapest for us in insurance, but the best riding! One review called it "rode like a Lexus" and we couldnt agree more!! Excellent van, great resale value, good safety features (3 rows of side curtain airbags STANDARD!) Make sure you guys buy the one with VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) great safety tool!

  • Love it!! - 2003 Toyota Sienna

I bought my van (CE) used with 108,000 miles on it. The ride is smooth and the handling is very car-like. I took it to my mechanic who said the van is in great shape for a 9-year-old. He suggested I get a new timing belt, a tune-up and a coolant flush, and Ill probably get another 100k out of it! Great purchase!

  • Best auto ever owned - 2005 Toyota Sienna

Im 76 years old and have never had a vechicle that pleased me more.It has everything from sensors to detect items to the rear or sides to a laser to warn and automatically slow me down when approaching the vechicle in front of us. A DVD system, moon roof and GPS system add to the pleasure of driving this vechicle. Simply--I love it.

  • Sienna is a Great Choice - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Our Sienna has proven to be a very wise purchase and great asset to the family. We have 2 young children and the spaciousness of the cabin has proven to be everything wed expected. The van is strikingly similar in overall size, power, and driver "feel" to my parents Lexus RX300 SUV--its got gobs of power. The black exterior is, as the conventional wisdom states, hard to keep clean.
