Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Not much to fault - much to praise - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Overall a fantastic van. Chose between the 2005 Odyssey and the 2005 Sienna - the Odyssey was great but we needed the 8 seats and werent willing to pay the extra Honda was asking. The only reason I would recommend the Honda over the Sienna is the standard stability control and the standard side airbags which are a big deal for us. The need for 8 real seats was the tie breaker for us. The Honda handles and is more fun to drive but the Sienna is no slouch either. All things being equal, the Toyota represented better overall value and suited our needs better.

THE VAN DOESNT FEEL LIKE A VAN, IT HAS INCREDIBLE PICK-UP. LOTS OF ROOM FOR CAR SEATS, ALL THE FEATURES A PARENT IS LOOKING FOR FOR STORAGE, SAFETY, AND COMFORT

  • too fast to market? - 2004 Toyota Sienna

. transmission late kicking down to first . vague steering . weak brakes . 2nd row seating difficult to remove/install . plastic bumper easily chipped . wind noise near top of windshield . rattle in drivers door . poor stereo . difficult to adjust heater controls . position of rear heat/air outlets

  • Fix gas pedal lull - 2004 Toyota Sienna

Acceleration pedal seems to be disconnected from vehicle. When the vehicle is coming to a rolling stop and then you need to accelerate there is no gas pedal for some distance, give it a little extra and you spin the tires when it catches. The problem is amplified in slick road conditions.

  • Smooth ride - 2006 Toyota Sienna

So far, so good, great for road trips or everyday use, its my wifes but I drive it on weekends, its better than the truck for family outings. Drives like a sedan or better, lots of room, it can be configured to accommodate any combination of passengers and load. Add adequate power and a sleek design, and you got the full package.

I love the way the car drives. Feel like you are driving on clouds. Great traction and steering and it also looks great. Not like your average Minivan.

  • Only One Problem... - 2004 Toyota Sienna

I love almost everything about this van. We traded in a 1997 Windstar for this one, and were glad to see it go. Lots of cup holders, DVD Ent. System, great ride & gas mileage. Low cabin noise. Easy to fold down or remove seats. A fe wsmall problems: Daytime Running Lights never worked; Auto-off headlight feature stopped working; loose accessory drive belt on delivery.

  • XLE Limited 300,000 Miles with only Minor Issues - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I purchased this van with 60K miles on it in 2007. Since then I have put over 240 more. This has been the most reliable car or truck I have ever owned. The items I have repaired or replaced include tires, brakes, spark plugs, and two timing belts. I had to have a new A/C compressor last summer. Both power sliding door cables broke some time ago but I have not fixed them because the doors open and close with one finger-they are a waste. This van still has the original alternator, starter, shocks, springs and of course engine and transmission. It rides and drives nice with no real issues. I would rate the comfort very good.

  • I never thought - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

We just purchased a 2004 XLE with the GT package and Im surprised by all the well thought out options and funtions of this vechicle. I have a 2003 G35 and the van was suppose to be for my wife. I hope she enjoys the infiniti as much as I plan on enjoying the XLE. Dealer was willing to deal on price of 32800 I felt we could have gone lower.

This vehicle is as great as described. The ride is phenomenal. How long until Lexus realizes there should be an "L" on the grille instead of a "T"?
