Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • Extremely Happy after 10+ Years - 2004 Toyota Sienna

We bought this 2004 model in the summer of 2003 and now have 123K miles on it. Nearly flawless reliability with very minimal maintenance and repairs. The only issue weve run into has been the fairly common power door cable break. We had a lot of warning (noises, clunky operation) and had it inspected and were told it would cost $1600 to fix. We let it go and now the door is manual operation only. No big deal, we got over 10 years of use out of it while the kids were young. Other than this weve changed the timing belt, spark plugs, and front brake pads (@50K and @100K) plus the usual maintenance items such as oil, filters and tires. Each set of tires has gone between 32K and 38K miles.

  • We love it! - 2000 Toyota Sienna

Our family of four plus pets have been very fond of this car. We have had no breakdown with it, no troubles except for the third row seat release, which doesnt always work as easily as it should to remove and replace the third row seats. Otherwise, the car has been quiet and comfortable to drive, mechanically reliable, and a joy on long trips. Its hard to understand how one reviewer in this column has gotten such a lemon.

  • Best in the market - 2004 Toyota Sienna

The van is fun to drive. Quiet, comfortable, powerful and the build quality is, well like other Toyotas, top notch. The interior design looks a bit more refined than the Honda Oddessy. The overhead computer (part of pkg 6 I purchased) displays information about the fuel millage, driving direction, outside temperature. It also includes 2 Homelink bottoms for your garage doors etc.

  • Best MiniVan out there!!!!! - 2004 Toyota Sienna

The MiniVan errrrr moblie home is the best. Tons of space. Drives like a dream. Who needs a RV when you can buy this instead. I was totally against a minivan until I drove this dream. Style, power and room.

  • Finally bought a foreign car! - 2004 Toyota Sienna

WE LOVE THIS FANCY MINI-VAN!!! GOODBYE AMERICAN-MADE CARS FOREVER!!! Fell in love with this XLE and worked out a deal for our 97 Venture with only 47,000 miles (barely squeezed some value out of the dealer for it). Wow is this a great riding family van. Its a shame the dealer knows so little about it, gave us wrong information left and right, but this car has alot more than we could have ever asked for.

I am what most consider a loyal Toyota owner, having owned over 5 Toyotas. All of which I have driven over 200,000 miles a piece. My second car, which I still own, is a Camry with 354,000 miles and still looks/runs like new. This is the main reason for our selection of the Sienna as reliability and quality is of utmost importance to us. Atlas, Sienna did not disappoint us! After 30,000 miles with two trips to Florida, and uncountable trips to NY, some of which included towing a trailer....it has convinced me that I made a wise decision once again to purchase a Toyota for my growing family. In addition, the dealer treats me as if I am king!

  • HARD TO DEAL WITH - 2000 Toyota Sienna
    By -

BIGGEST PROBLEMS ARE DEALING WITH TOYOTA DEALERS. BUT THE VAN IS RELIABLE AFTER 36000 MILES HAVE HAD BRAKE LIGHT COME ON SEVERAL TIME. AIR PRESSURE LIGHT WAY TO SENSITIVE.AIR CONDITIONER WENT OUT AFTER 2 WEEKS FROM BRINGING HOME. LEASE WAS UP WENT TO HONDA ODDESEY , TWICE THE VAN AND A LOT CHEAPER. GOODYEAR TIRES ARE JUNK. YOU WILL REPLACE THEM AT 12000 MILES

You can put me in the category of somebody who never thought theyd own a minivan. However, it just made sense for my family. And Im exceptionally glad I made the decision. Plenty of room for everybody, tons of space for stuff, very quiet and comfortable, and actually doesnt look too bad (silver).

  • American Spec XLE 8-Seater - 2005 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Purchased this rare optioned Sienna in Germany for military service members. It has sonar parking assist and 8 cloth seats, otherwise, it is a standard XLE. Wonderful car! Fits my criteria for the perfect minivan: quiet, smooth ride that offers best environment for conversations within the vehicle. Great power in reserve for those situations when you really need it, like merging onto freeways. Nice bells and whistles (described below) combined with great reliability and quality has resulted in a near perfect people hauler. Safety features such as 3-row curtain bags, Vehicle Stability Control, TRAC, and four- wheel disc anti-lock brakes provide peace of mind. Videos in rear is nice.

We owned a 1999 Pontiac Montana, Well what can I say the intake manifold started leaking. Here is the bad part of the Montana it only had 35000 miles on it. Not to mention oil leaks. We own a Toyota Tacoma SR5 4dr 4x4. We love it. No PROBLEMS! So we decided on the Sienna. We Love It! Nice ride, good pickup, and lots of room. Get the captains chairs, very comfo
