Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

Outstanding vehicle. Luxurious as a Lexus. More practical than any SUV, and Toyota reliability. Available AWD is icing on the cake

I cant imagine a better vehicle. this car is an absolute joy to drive in every dimension. Its comfortable, its got nice pickup for a car its size, it maneuvers wonderfully in parking lots, it is comfortable (I just finished a 7 hour drive and I dont have any sore body parts), and if you get the XLE like I did, theres so many great bells and whistles.

Toyota makes a great product but the sienna is not one of them. The suspension is soft but not comfortable ad bad handling. Tried every type of gasoline on the face of this earth and got 19 mpg at best. Just bought bought a MAZDA MPV fot he wife and it has been great. Paid so much ore for so much less STAY AWAY FROM THE SIENNA!!!!

  • Traded in 03 Odyssey or 09 Sienna XLE - 2009 Toyota Sienna

We just traded in our 03 Odyssey EX-L w/DVD for an 09 Sienna XLE w/ DVD & leather + xtras. I thought my Odyssey was the ultimate family friendly car but this is even better. The Sienna is very well thought out with lots of storage compartments scattered about. Very easy for 3rd row passengers to get into with tumble-forward 2nd row seats. The drive is very smooth and car like. With the Ody, I often felt there was a huge amount of car behind me. The Sienna is a significantly quieter inside than the Ody. All the seats are very comfortable. I really like the center console in the front row - it has a deep center storage bin that is perfect for the DVD headphones.

This is a very comfortable vehicle. It has excellent steering and turning ratio. It has everything most people are looking for in a vehicle.

  • One of the blunders I made - 2011 Toyota Sienna
    By -

As if the buying experience was less haunting, the new sienna that I bought makes be regret every minute I drive it. One of the blunders I made when I didnt test drive other minivans before buying the Sienna just because it had AWD. I wish I listened to my friends who bought the Odyssey. The engine is so noisy, especially during acceleration, sometimes during turning quickly, the steering wheel seems non- responsive and of course it is a little too big to make driving fun. The acceleration is not always the same sometimes it is good while sometimes, it doesnt shift to the next gear. The dash looks like cheap plastic. I have been in the drivers seat only and I do not like it.

  • Sienna- 1 week impression. - 2005 Toyota Sienna

After checking tons of posts I realized that today my choice of minivans is narrowed by two brands Toyota and Honda.I started with test driving Sienna and ... did not even want to try another van. I chose Sienna LE FWD 8 seats with package #1.List of selling points for me:0. My daughter loves it!1. Great handling and turning radius 2. Great build and material quality 3. Got exactly what I want without paying extra money for extra toys 4. The same engine and tranny that lexus 330 has 5. Yours - consumers satisfaction (compare to a Hondas) 6. I leased the car and will consider to buy it off lease.

  • Great xcountry ride - 2004 Toyota Sienna

After 30k miles,I have a good feel for this van. Even with a bad back, I can drive 2400 miles in 5 days with absolute comfort. The nav system did give wrong info on 2 occasions. Hesitation, down shifting on the slightest grade (poor power), and poor city mileage (13-14 mpg) existed right from the beginning. I feel these problems are from the AWD powertrain requirements. Highway mpg=23-24mpg. Locally, overall mpg=16-17. The runflat tires lasted 20k and were almost bald. Avoid the AWD and you will be much happier.

  • Good, but expected more. - 2004 Toyota Sienna

With the need to carry eight people, and not wanting a gas guzzling SUV, the Sienna was one of two choices. Great vehicle, tons of space, tons of power, and EXCELLENT fuel economy (25 MPG @ 80MPH), and tight turning radius. The versitility is unbelievable. The build quality of our vehicle is questionable. The dash is misaligned, as is the rear bumper. The van has also went into the dealer at least six times in the first year, for minor problems. Versions currently on dealer lots should be fine, but check carefully. FInally, WATCH THE SALESMAN AT THE DEALER!!! We were riped off.

  • Drive it right and youll get 20 mpg! - 2006 Toyota Sienna
    By -

First, never thought Id buy a minivan, but very glad I did! Im getting 22.1 mpg in the city and I say that if you are only getting 14, then blame your foot, not the van! Id like to know how it will tow, but cant find any info (thinking of buying a pop up). I love my van even though I didnt go for all the extras. For higher mpg, USE CRUISE CONTROL where ever possible, even in city! Coast down big hills! I cant believe there is no power to the cigarette lighters when the key is off!
