Overview & Reviews
Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.
In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

Best Van for Grandparents - 2008 Toyota Sienna
By Dan Trevors - May 23 - 4:36 pmI was in the market for a crossover, but found all of them to be too small for the kids and grandkids so we opted for the best minivan on the planet. I have back problems and the cloth seats on the LE are very comfortable. Much better than the leather. Mileage is about as promised. Power is very responsive. I would not go so far as to say it is fun to drive, but the safety systems put my mind at ease. We have two couples that we travel with and they love the room in the second and third seats. Enough cup holders for two armies.

Great Van - 2011 Toyota Sienna
By Alex - May 23 - 11:23 amSo far I only put 350 miles so cant comment on long term durability. But I drove 06 Odyssey Touring a few times so Ill use Odyssey as benchmark. I like the Sienna ride better (I came from BMW 5 series with sport package. To me, the Sienna is ideal for a family hauler), quieter than Odyssey, ride is not as firm/bouncy, handling is about the same. The transmission shifts smooth. Interior looks modern but lack the quality I expected. I feel the Odyssey interior trim/buttons are well made, Sienna feels cheap, especially compare to BMW and Acura (maybe not a fair comparison but the van cost 30k+). Mileage is good, I got 28 mpg (from MID) for almost all highway driving.

Worth Waiting For - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By Philadelphia - May 14 - 10:00 amGood thing we waited. Initially we were considering the Odyssey, Town & Country and Winstar, until we came accross a preliminary review of the 2004 Sienna on the internet. My wife and I decided to wait for a month until the new Sienna is available so that we can compare it also. There is no comparison. The Sienna adapted all the desirable features of the others, incorporated and improved upon them in the 2004 Sienna.

Fun Family Car - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By Kha4me - May 14 - 10:00 amWe wife and I just had twins and need a Minivan. We always liked the Honda Odyssey; but after seeing the 04 Sienna, it changed our mind. We bought the Sienna LE on Saturday after seeing it for the first time. Our intention was to go buy the Odyssey. After comparing the two, the 04 Sienna was our pick. Driving home was such a joy. Very well layout designs and roomy. We love to take this car with our twins and our 2 year old son. Good job Toyota.

Get the leather - 2008 Toyota Sienna
By sylvia - May 11 - 9:53 amI often have elderly persons in this vehicle and they have all commented on the comfort of the leather seats and the spaciousness of the cabin. When its empty & the seats are stowed theres plenty of room for hauling. I traded in an 8cyl Jeep which was seriously noisy; Sienna is quiet by comparison, but still loud on the freeway. Ive had it just over 18 months and, knock wood, not a think has gone wrong. Mileage exactly as stated by the manufacturer (not to say it has great mileage but I am saying the advertised MPG is truthful).

An RX330 MiniVan (LE package 7) - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By JamesSpot - May 9 - 10:00 amSame drivetrain as Lexus: powerful, smooth, quiet, and 27 mpg on the first tank of gas! High demand + low supply = only $300 off MSRP. Low fuel light means LOW! I put 21 gal in first tank - way too close.

LOVE IT! - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By Chip - May 8 - 3:43 amI had researched the sienna and the new odyssey. Both were essentally the same. The honda had more gadgets but did not have remote rear windows. What sold me was the Siennas ride was far better and the middle seat was more functional for my needs than was the odysseys. What a great vehicle! Driving it is an absolute pleasure, responsive, nimble and I got 24 miles per gallon on the first tank. Fold down rear seats are a real plus and the middle row is very funtional.

I cant believe I like this van so much! - 2007 Toyota Sienna
By YellowPage Guy - May 8 - 1:03 amThe more I drive it, the more I love it! Great ride, awesome power and commendable fuel consumption. A far better value than the Odyssey. Dont get me wrong, the Honda is very nice. However, the Sienna delivers more room, power, MPG than the Honda for considerably less.

Recommended - 2004 Toyota Sienna
By bkite - May 6 - 9:13 pm71000 miles. Handles great in snow with four 215/65/16 Mich Xice tires: backed 30 yards across a grass field covered in snow up to the bumpers and towed a pickup truck out that couldnt move on its own. Who needs AWD and the associated additional costs? Quiet on hwy, great for long trips. OE tires lasted 50K. Brakes serviced once. MPG >20 city, 24.5-27@75mph, hit 30mpg@60mph sustained with 7 people on board on one trip. Only unexpected repair: radiator leak, cost $800, was not on recall.

Beware of AWD - 2005 Toyota Sienna
By James Mayberry - May 3 - 1:13 pmPurchased the 2005 XLE Limited in Oct 2004. Ordered it fully loaded (dvd-Nav- etc) with 2 wheel drive. Was delivered as AWD and dealer convinced me it would be no problem. Shame on me !!! After 28000 miles it has averaged 18.3 MPG overall (mostly highway), has had one set of new tires and already shows 40% wear on second set !! At $1156 per set, this figures out to approx $100 per Mo. for tires alone !!! Wanna buy one--- "Have I got a deal for you" !!!
