Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • What a Comfortable Ride - 2006 Toyota Sienna

Im not sure about why other reviewers said this vehicle was uncomfortable. I have the leather seat upgrade and just spent a weeks worth of traveling in this vehicle (riding in the 3rd row) and found it to be VERY comfortable! The first time I drove my new van I was amazed at how it felt like I was driving my moms Lexus. It rode so smooth and felt very solid. Coming from a 98 Honda Civic to this is a HUGE change! The twins fit very comfortably in the van, as well as the two Dobermans, the cat, hubby and lots of luggage. Its also quite sporty so I dont feel like an old soccer mom when Im driving it!

My wife has a lung problem. Which means I have to carry oxygen tanks when ever we go out in the van. With the two rear seats hidden flush to the floor it gives me room for her wheel chair and extra tanks plus room for what ever else I need to carry. I am so pleased with the dash, I dont have to bend my head in order to read the different gages that are usually blocked by the steering wheel.

Should be a Lexus except the lack of memory seats. Quiet, handles well, has a luxurious feel.

Drove my Ford Aerostar for 14 years and 250,000 miles. Replaced it with the Sienna and I love it. Plan to drive this one even longer. Epitome of style and comfort. Transitions from a luxury ride for a night out with guests, to a workhorse - loaded down with suitcases and dog equipment and pulling a trailer filled with everything needed to put on a field trial 500 miles away.

  • So Far, a Great Decision. - 2011 Toyota Sienna

First Toyota Ive ever owned. Great experience so far. Interior design has a fresh, crisp look. Plastic seems a little on the cheap side, but the panels fit together nicely. Full function of the interior lights takes some time to figure out. Excellent visibility, terrific head lights, and one of the best suspensions Ive ever had on a vehicle. Steering is utterly effortless, almost freakishly so. Has a wonderfully tight turning radius for a vehicle of this size. Stow and go seats in rear are a snap to work, and function well. So big and roomy on the inside that my daughter now frequently requests to go play in it! Plenty of engine, and a butter-smooth transmission to boot.

  • Toyota Minivan or Lexus Minivan - 2005 Toyota Sienna

Always thought people enjoy minivans when they buy it and when they sell it. Here comes Sienna, sales man insisted my wife to test drive it and thats it. We loved it over GX470, Honda Pilot,Seqoia.... Took the highest model, paid 37K and love it. Toyota dealerships are the best and Toyota company is always asking feedback to improve. For future maybe some extra power would be good. But this is a true gem. Great drive city or highway. Music system is awesome. Did not take entertainment system ot navigation but everything else is in here. Love how the dashboard looks at night.

A good mini-van. It drinks gas somewhat.

  • Amazing Vehicle!!! - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

First off, I am 18 year-old guy, and I have no shame driving this. It looks great for a minivan, and can take off when you put your foot down! My friend said "I thought this was a minivan" when I got on the highway. Yet it still gets over 20 mpg hauling 6 people every day to school. No other minivan has a factory woofer in the back. Drove on an 11 hour road trip, and it was perfectly comfortable and returned 27 mpg doing a steady 70 mph with a full load. Dream vehicle for a road trip! I highly recommend to anyone needing a versatile reliable family vehicle.

So far, its worth every penny. Handles and rides great for such a big car. Very comfortable on every type of surface. Love the power of the engine.

  • Going to trade it in - 2001 Toyota Sienna

Electrical system is a problem: passenger side window does not work. Started happening during warranty period, however, dealer, could not find problem existed. Now no longer works. Computer: Problem lights keeping coming on: low air for tire, engine problem, etc. We have had them checked at the dealer and they just reset for a cost. Also, Bayridge Toyota of Brooklyn NY stated that the engine problem was from over filling the gas tank and a repair of $800. Body: This car dents very easily.
