Model Overview:

Buyers looking for a smart choice in the minivan segment will undoubtedly find themselves considering the Toyota Sienna. Since its introduction in 1998, the Sienna has won over families with its versatility, features, safety record and reputation for reliability.

In reviews, we've lauded the Sienna for its smooth, refined ride and easy-to-drive nature. Another plus is that Toyota has generally offered all-wheel drive on the Sienna, making it a more practical alternative to large three-row crossover SUVs. More recent Siennas can be downright plush in higher trim levels, and there's even an SE model with a sport-tuned suspension that's genuinely sporty. Whichever version you choose, you'll be getting one of the most dependable and rewarding minivans on the market.

  • I never thought Id own a minivan - 2004 Toyota Sienna

For years, I promised myself I would never own a minivan. However, with two young kids and a large dogs, we needed a large vehicle for family trips. We looked at the Sienna, Odyssey, Quest, and Town&Country. None of the other vehicles could compare to the features, ride, comfort, quality, and reliability that we found in the Sienna.

  • Fine Van - 2005 Toyota Sienna

Bought used with 92,000 miles; now has 101,000 miles and have loved every mile. Replaced a 2006 le that gave excellent service but I wanted to own one with all of the extra button spaces used so this xle limited awd has it all! Run flat tires were replaced with regular tires so I had to buy a spare but found a new one at a salvage yard for 100.00. Gas mileage has been about 24 mpg but the awd grip makes up for the 2 mpg less that the le. Have had no problems with anything and have taken three 1000 mile trips this summer. The only minor problem was a frozen bolt when I had the timing belt changed but the cost was minimal. It drives and rides superbly and makes long trips a pleasure.

  • Two and a half years and still lovin it - 2005 Toyota Sienna

This minivan is all about quality and comfort. We have two friends that bought Hondas the same year we bought this van and they are having issues with rattles and noises in the cabin. We bought this van new and have put 30K on it but have not had any issues with this van, and am very happy we purchased it. It is an extremely smooth ride, and has plenty of power to boot. Short and long trips are a breeze. If there is any downfall to this van it would be road noise, everything in this van has the quality of a Lexus but the noise from the road could be better.

While I am still a new owner, this van drives like a dream and has many wonderful comfort features. My last van was not a Toyota, but I am very happy to have returned to being a Toyota owner. The quality and smoothness of the handling and ride are terrific.

I test drove them all and am happy to report I was dead on in choosing the Sienna. I got the upgraded package and love the comfort I have with the advance safety package. Make sure you get the anti-skid with package or you wont like it.

It really did not take long to realize that, when we (my wife and I) compaired other 6 and seven passanger mini-vans to the Sienna, this would be the easy choice. What made it even easier was how helpful the folks were at the dealership... (of course). When we compaired features with cost, again, it was an easy choice.

  • SUV? Sienna makes more Cents - 2004 Toyota Sienna
    By -

The 04 Sienna is ideal for running to the store, picking up kids or driving to Disney World. Why people drive around on paved roads in 15 MPG SUVs is puzzling. I was guilty myself. But without a boat or horse trailer to pull, a minivan makes more sense. After owning various minivans, studying current options and test drives, I found the Sienna more solid and appealing inside than the Honda and not as cramped as the Freestar. The Sienna is quiet, refined, well built, holds its value and gets great mileage. My only complaint is the strange location of the gear shift.

  • Expensive, but worth it. - 2008 Toyota Sienna
    By -

I purchased the 2008 Toyota Sienna Limited from Carmax with 112,000 miles on it. Ive owned it now for three weeks. Im fairly impressed. Overall gas mileage is a tick under 20 mpg. Im a single guy with no kids and I drive a minivan, but Im ok with that. This one is pretty nice and it holds a lot of stuff when I need it to. Superbly flexible and comfortable accommodations for any number of people. Its an expensive car compared to the competition, but hopefully with the Toyota reputation, itll last a long time.

  • Good Minivan, but not Great - 2005 Toyota Sienna
    By -

Initial build quality for Sienna is excellent. Engine is a little weak at only 3.3L. However, 5- speed auto produce adequate power and surprisingly good fuel economy. A full tank of gas (20 gal) goes about 450 miles!
